Not that it would happen, but hypothetically, how do you see JauneXIlia go down?
In RWBY Canon? If it were to have a chance to work you'd have to start as soon as possible in the next Volume. Get a proper introduction between the two, have some pleasant banter and chemistry, and give Ilia alot more screentime by having her team up with Jaune's group. The major issue though that it will absolutely tear the fanbase apart and ruin RT's image by them having their "First Confirmed LGBT Character" end up in a hetero relationship with Jaune.
