:3 Possible snippet or something about Butterfly wish wip?
Okay!!! You will get two snippets right before I go on my plane!
Exclusive just for you from the billford chapters I havent yet sent my own sister.
Butterfly effect is about if every single person in the zodiac was forcefully time traveled to episode 1 of season 1, the beginning of summer. However, they are not aware the rest of the cast have also time traveled and assume they are the only ones who can stop Bill by doing the correct course of actions to stop weirdmeggedon and bring Ford back. They are all preparing for weirdmeggedon....except one person.
Its about anxiety, because Dipper can not figure out why the butterfly effect is massively changing the timeline, despite him and Mabel doing everything right, and trying to repeat previous actions.
Everybody assumes they are the main character and faces their own journies.
Unfortunately having to adapt every episode was a slow process. I was 10 episodes in.
Gravity Falls analysis post that I'm just screaming into the void...
Was watching Gravity Falls with my sister, and haven't been able to shake what she said about Soos and the Real Girl out of my head, about how isn't it pretty awful that people are trying to push him into a "real" relationship/forcing him to have a relationship and shaming him for not having one for Reggie's party? His abuelita says he's a man now, it's time for him to start meeting girls. There's this sort of pressure to have a standard heterosexual relationship that I really didn't like.
And that made me think, especially in the context of the episode, about how invested Soos gets in this relationship with this dating sim woman who is not an actual real person. One of the thing's he says about looking for a woman, is he's worried about a lifetime of loneliness. It's not something like "Girls are so pretty and I do not have one." or anything to do with women specifically at all. It's just a desire for companionship he's looking for so he can avoid a lifetime of loneliness. Dipper said "Soos, can a computer game go to Reggie's engagement party with you?" It wasn't something like 'if you want a girlfriend there's one right there for you,' or 'a video game does not have intelligence or a real personality.' No, it was that Giffany can't physically go to a party to adhere to society's normality. That's her real flaw. He later dumps Giffany because of this conversation, because he has to think long-term, and she's too "beep-boop" (not real.) But he admits he's having trouble deciding between two things he likes, but he doesn't know what's right for him.
And by the end of the episode Soos has "moved on" from "fake" relationships to "real" relationships with Melody. He immediately asks her to go to Reggie's party with him after their date which was not as bad as her date with the magician, because his main want was "someone to go to Reggie's party with" because he was pressured to. It wasn't 'I have a crush on Melody am doing this solely for me.' Part of the appeal to him was clearly still the pressure he's being put under by Abuelita.
He also says when she says she'll still be in town "A relationship with a girl that I can only see through my computer...sounds perfect!". He does not seem disappointed about this at all/and I've known many allo people who are disappointed by LDRs since they can't hug or kiss their partner as frequently. And anyway all of this sort of speaks to me as someone asexual. It's an experience that I'm sure other asexual people have felt before, that LDR relationships or relationships over the computer are a lot less intimidating/scary/because they don't have that pressure of social conventions to have sex or kiss. Both my gf's and my first relationship were LDRs (not with each other) because it didn't feel "real' and "scary."
When Soos meets Melody, he talks to her as if he's hanging out with a new friend. He calls her a nice lady, and although she is very clearly into him, it takes Mabel and Dipper telling him that he accidentally asked her out on a date to register interest/the possibility of that. (I'm sure other asexual people have also set up platonic hang out time with someone only to learn they did not pick up on the social cue of attraction/and that they are not on the same page with the new friend. I often fear that I have "accidentally" flirted with someone, when I'm just complimenting them.)
Anyway, my read is that Soos is asexual, and that the people in his life sort of shamed him a bit to have a "normal" relationship, but with Melody one of the draws was a middle ground. A "normal" relationship + before the end of the show where she moves back to Gravity Falls/none of that pressure.
Obviously Giffany had other negatives about her besides the whole "not being real" but one of the thing's Soos likes about her is that she predictable. I could see an argument being made here that one of the good things about being predictable is not having this intimidation when it comes to sexual acts. It was probably just him being shy/having some level of social anxiety/inexperience when it comes to relationships, but I also like this interpretation.
The only other relationship we see Soos have is with pig girl, who kissed him because she thought he still had Waddles's personality/was that bold, and he kinda just listens to her as she cries about how different she is/does not seem that broken up once she dumps him. He DOES ask if they can kiss again/if that's an option which does imply he likes kissing, but some ace people do! He never says anything like "she's beautiful" for pig girl.
I also realized that looking at the transcripts, when Soos says Melody looks nice, it's because Mabel coached him to say that. The only one he really calls "pretty" is Giffany for her sparkley eyes. (Which super valid. I agree, Soos.)
Anyway, it's crazy to me that there was more sexual chemistry between Stan and Old Goldie that episode than Soos and Melody. And I thought I'd share why I personally headcanon Soos as asexual! This post was kinda a mess. Sorry about that!
Recently I went to Japan. While I was in japan I searched for 3 very specific figures and found 0 of them. One figure was a nendroid of gen from doctor stone for my sister because it was her request. One was a rare anime girl who I knew I wasnt going to find because her merch was from the 90s but I decided to look anyway, and another was Buggy the clown.
Now, as someone into One Piece. I assumed one piece merch would be easy to find. Its a big media. But did I find Buggy the Clown merch??? No. No ai did not.
I went to 3 seperate towns searching far and wide and anime shopping through floors and floors of department stores. There would be floors for one piece figures. So many minor characters had figures but no buggy! I even learned how to ask "do you have a buggy the clown figure" to the employees. (And then theyd just take me to the one piece section...with no buggys.)
I kept joking that I was going to give my one piece merch virginity to buggy as my FIRST one piece merch to my friend who got me into it because he was like "you should get One Piece merch" (theres too much)
So for years I have searched for Buggy.
I wanted one of those husbando figurines that was a little too serious/sexy for an ugly One Piece clown man. And finally....my dream has been realized thanks to my lovely friend @snoozyanon
Gaze at his glory. My lovely friend made and painted this for me.

I don't think I'll tag anyone just because I am struggling to come up with who I should tag LMAO. I am just praying tumblr posts my post and that the internet doesn't bug out before posting.
Nobody at all follows me for gravity falls content (sorry old followers I switched fandoms teehee. My sister dragged me into gravity falls) but I am tormented by 1000 different billford fic ideas, but unsure which of the many to focus my attention on. I've drafted chapter 1's of multiple and plotted out 2 via chapters....I see other people talking about their own fanfic concepts so I'm wondering if I too should bounce my ideas off randos (ya'll).
I have 4 main fics my attention is trying to split my attention between. Help direct my adhd
• fic 1 multiple already written chapters but I have yet to actually plan it out and thus I do not know where its heading. Parrellel dimension ford visits Ford seeking out his Bill for info to use on his own Bill for revenge and Ford all for revenge on Bill tries to look into the theraprism for him. Unfortunately his hubris is his undoing and this is not a better world situation, he is being manipulated once again but this time by himself and once his evils are revealed he has to work with Bill to stop him. I call this one Evil Ford fic.
• This one also has multiple chapters drafted but I do know where Im going with it because I've drafted an outline. This one is one of those human Bill fics, but with a twist. I'll be sort of vagueish but gravity falls cast knows Bill is human, but he also has amnesia and a fake backstory implanted in his brain, and they all decide to manipulate him, Ford especially who believes this is karmic. Unfortunately the rest of the cast start seeing this new Bill as a new person to his horror and liking the new persona, and some of them feel pity for the fact that something is going on in his brain that is very wrong and this is essentially some form of lobotomy to him. And yet despite the pity, Ford plays him all the same. This is the amnesia human one.
• This one is not outlined at all, but I do have the first chapter as a draft. Its handyman Bill concept-ish except instead of being powerless and sent to the shack, hes sent to Gideon to undo the damage he caused there and because they had anvold deal that Gideon never officially paid. Bill gives Gideon terrible advice about going after his Pine twin and Gideon learns to not be him from his bad example and the two bond over their shared prison experiences. This one is handyman Gideon.
• Last one I have outlined and I had chapter 1 but I've decided to completely scrap it and rework it. Its time travel, where each zodiac time travels to episode 1 of the series and has to redo that summer. However most of them do not communicate with the other members that they too have time traveled and Dipper and Mabel are fighting against the butterfly effect and trying to do every action the same so they can survive the summer and beat weirdmeggedon again and keep their current lives, while Stan is doing changes to try to get his brother back sooner. Basically follows the formula of every single character preparing insanely for weirdmeggedon while Bill on the other hand has completely given up on that from prison and is now working with Ford in the multiverse to try to figure out who is controlling time and did this to them. It would go in a formula currently of 1. Normal chapter 2. Billford and switching off between the two I think. And this is the one my brain has currently latched onto.
I also have a one shot I need to edit to break into the fandom...
Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions which to focus on even though my brain might make me focus on one that is not voted for?
Should I be screaming into the void about gravity falls fic at all?
Scary scary times politically. Im super horrified and terrified how that evil bill passed in the US. I dont honestly know if this is survivable, and im just stunned into horror at the amount of people in this country who think this was a good thing or dont care.
Many months ago, I started the quest to read all my multi chapter sgt frog fics and tier list them, even though I have a single follower who likely recognizes them.
Anyway, I never did finish all of them. I have TWO left, but I decided to tier list them for fun anyway and put my thoughts down. I reccomend others do this to your old fics because it's a lot of fun returning to your old fanfics a decade later and trying to see the joy in them instead of criticizing them for the poor writing. It was fun looking at things with a fresh set of eyes.
Tier list and discussions of my feelings towards each fanfic in the read more. Also I apologize, when I put all the fanfic covers in mspaint and put the titles on them I did not realize tierlists cut off the first half of the picture. I didn't care enough to correct it though since this was made for me. Also, if you have problems with any of the ships/oocness of characters discussed in this post, just remember, it was all from like a decade ago and I sort of mentally separated the fanfic I was reading from canon? Like I didn't rewatch sgt frog, I just read my old fics. Please do not send me hate for fics from what I consider a while ago!
Anyway, here is my very long winded thoughts on all of the fics. This will mean nothing to anyone because I doubt many people even remember what was IN these fics. Even my own sister was like "wait, what happened in that one???"
Trash Tier (F):
Insanity at a loss: Bad. Worst story I've written. Super grimdark/cringe/got a lot of extremely problematic elements that I am genuinely ashamed of, but I feel like deleting it would be ingenuine/and it was very much a part of my journey as a fanfic author? also if there is one person in the world who does like it despite it being super duper bad trash, I don't want to deprive them of it. I just don't like deleting fic because it bothers me when I'm reading a fic and the author deletes and then I can never see it again.
Heartbeat Lies: Sorry, this one was just plain bad. I think it's because I have written a lot of romantic fluff fic at this point but my first crack at a long fluff fic was just…bad. The miscommunications were dumb/and from start to finish I just kinda cringed through the whole thing and unlike some of the others, I (the author) was not having as fun of a time with this one as the others. I think I grade based on how much fun did I have rereading vs how good they actually were. I did not have fun with this one. It sucked. So down in the pits it goes.
Freedom of the Masks: Oh, freedom of the masks…I was very proud of it when I wrote it because I felt it was a very original au concept/it wasn't just "witch au" "pirate au" or "Regency au". It was its own thing with its own world building. And I did like one character's role in the story where they were pretending to be something they weren't by stealing from a blood bank and it also illustrated a toxic friendship (can you tell that when a fic has a bigger focus on a friendship/positive or negative, I am more engaged Lmao?) but man…Parts of me feels like this whole fic felt a little lowkey racist without meaning to. Like I obviously didn't delete because again, I think all my old work is important for the journey, but it gives me a bad vibe. And thus it is dead to me.
D Tier, or as I call it, bad and cringe but not as Bad!
Star Crossed: Not as bad as insanity at a loss. My first real au. It had like one interesting thing (the fissure). The fissure was a better character than all the sgt frog characters combined. The relationships were pretty boring though, there wasn't a lot of nuance in relationships romantic or friendship, except oddly enough Kururu and Aki who were like the only ones I remember from when I reread it MONTHS ago because the extremely toxic vibes there were at least something while the rest of the relationships were like "girl give us nothing"
Also none of the sgt frog characters had their old names because I clearly wanted to write original but have things both ways? Also I made it a reincarnation based story. It was all over the place and very dumb.
Symbiosis of the Heart: I'm pretty sure this was based on miraculous ladybug fanart. And because I just had the "I want to write this" but not super attached to anything, instead of making it a one-shot in the middle of the story which I clearly should have, I made it a story that felt short and kinda lacking. At least I remembered that Natsumi likes Saburo which I can't say a lot of these acknowledged. But I can barely recall what I read in this one a few months ago? That's how much of a lack of an impression it made.
Lost in A haze: Omg. I thought this one was SOOOO good for years. I was so proud of it. I was like "Look at this one its soooo good" it was in fact, not good. I'll let you in on a secret. This entire fic was one very big salt fic about a famous fae young adult series I was a fan of at the time and then got mad at some of the choices with my best friend and after reading for too many pages I was like "I can write fae too!!!" so a lot of the rules were used from that, but I wanted to get it over/and did not focus on developing the world as much as I should have/was a teenager instead of a professional author. And so it ended up being kinda messy. Also a lot of the characters were not used properly, even with my whole "this doesn't really feel like a sgt frog fic, huh…" Too many characters were neglected/done dirty!
C Tier (A bit juvenile/poor writing/but not the worst!)
Bloody Fever: Real disappointed in this one because this one, the spy one and shattered wings were like the au fics I regularly reread up to a time. So I was expecting it to be good because of that. And it was not. There were like a few things that were interesting. Keroro specifically because I like dopplegangers. But besides that? it was very boring on the reread and I think maybe it's because there was something fundamentally lacking in the romance? It was way too sudden. Some of these au fic just didn't have enough development in the main pair and yet they were mainly shipping fics, and so that is counted against them. I think also the ending, despite the fact that it was purposefully written as anti-climactic, left me angry when I was in the readers chair and was like "wait, they got away with all of those crimes with no repercussions???" Like I know that was the point! The point was that it wasn't a satisfying conclusion, and they shouldn't have gotten off scot-free but that's the thing about Angol Mois despite how the show treats her, she very likely has gotten away with a considerable amount of murder from just the planet destroying! You go, girl! Despite how frustrating it would be to read a story where the murder just gets away because nobody around her treats it seriously.
Revenge Filled Apple: It was better than Star Crossed, but had the same sort of regency/fantasy fairytale au thing. It isn't one I'm particularly like "I must rewrite it some day" I do love a fairytale au but you can tell some characters got the role out of a need to fill a specific niche like Koyuki. Why was she Rapunzel? No clue! And then there were characters that clearly deserved more screentime like Tamama and just did not get used much at all…I still find it kinda funny that out of all the fairytales I could have assigned the characters I chose the shoemaker and the elves for Dororo absolutely randomly. Rip Dororo.
In Sickness and In Health: Ugh…This one I have real complicated feelings on, because if it wasn't a grimdark fic where characters die it would be great! Easy A tier. Maybe S! I really like the beginning. But you can tell in the middle/end/I couldn't figure out how to resolve things and just skimmed and I legitimately do not think any characters should have died and yet I killed like MOST of them. It sucked! But the concept of life after the frogs getting recalled back to Keron and them all losing touch with each other is interesting! I just shouldn't have handled it that way and even the me during the fic knew it because I think I complained about it in an author's note in the last chapter!
Dead Beast: there were parts of this fic that were very good which was shocking because of it being an older fic! I liked Keroro and Kururu's relationship and found it interesting, and the alternative evil future I enjoyed. HOWEVER I think what bogs this specific fic down, is in a situation where Angol Mois dying is the lynchpin in how Kururu and Keroro both respectively changes, she should die from something a little more interesting/less dumb than a random fire lmao!
Shadow's Fate: This one was also grimdark in a somewhat similar way to the others. Lots of gore and torture, problematic stuff. What saved it I think is something all the fanfics from this era suffered from. I am dubbing it, the Saburo problem. You see, almost a decade ago when I was writing sgt frog fics, I didn't particularly like Saburo. A little because of petty ship war stuff, but I just found him boring. I think this was because his manga and anime personality's felt very different and I can not still for the life of me figure out why he was like the only character drastically changed for the anime. Like even his name got changed. Anyway, so because of this, I basically used Saburo for whatever I needed in the story. Sometimes he was a good guy, sometimes he was a bad guy. He was my favorite little narrative tool because I didn't care as much about adhering to his character or not "doing him dirty" so like every fic you get a COMPLETELY different Saburo. There was no consistent personality in my fics for him. Anyway, this fic he was the villain. I think it was based on a leak for manga chapter that I never got the translation too where people theorized that Saburo's dad was a man in black and I was like "I could write a fanfic about that" so this fic ended up being similiarly grimdark as like all the other fics, but because it felt very different I enjoyed re-reading it more than the others? Saburo ended up being my fave character in some of these which was shocking because he was absolutely not the same guy as both canon and also to his other self in these fics. I think my biggest complaint about this particular one is that I think the frogs should have all lived in the end/persevered somehow, and it was too depressing that most characters died. I found that dumb.
B Tier (Nostalgia goggles might have blinded me):
Happy End: It wasn't GOOD per say, writing and plot, and it suffered from similar levels of emo grimdark as Insanity at a Loss, but despite that, I had more fun with it. It made me who I am and was my first long fanfic. The chapters were also shockingly short which I am in shock over because I am physically incapable of having so much happen now in such little words, and I appreciate that. I also appreciated that all of the characters got to do something except Saburo who I kinda forgot about and then threw in last minute and treated rather offensively (sorry, Buddy! This is going to be a similar trend with poor Saburo in these fanfic recaps.)
Last Defense: It wasn't bad…But when rereading a lot of these fics in close succession with each other, it wasn't really my favorite either. I liked a lot of the ideas. Splitting up characters, putting them on islands/forcing interactions between characters who often don't interact like Kururu and Momoka, but I think what made it not an instant winner was in the rereading process I gained new appreciation for different relationships (like Dororo and Koyuki's relationship) and characters I previously found "boring" like Dororo and Koyuki and Saburo. But Momoka….Momoka wasn't really something sparkling in a lot of my old fics. And I think this is because I really liked canon Momoka. Momoka and Fuyuki, in my opinion, is the most canon sgt frog pairing. Momoka's episodes are usually very funny and I felt satisfied in them. Because I felt a sense of satisfaction from her comedy and character I never really felt the need to go above and beyond for her, or add more in and thus she fell flat. Which is a shame. Basically I think Momoka is fun to watch but Momoka was not fun for me to write and read in my old work basically!
I do, again, like, whenever one of these old fics relies on the joke of "wait, you kill people Mois?" Sure, maybe I am being annoying and egotistical by patting myself on the back for my own work, but ehhh it's not that serious. It's decade old fanfic. And I just really like Angol Mois and have to find my joy somewhere when reading old stuff and in our current world climate.
Awakening from a Nightmare: It's a…You guessed it…ANOTHER RANDOM GRIMDARK FIC. Lmao. Okay, so despite being a grimdark fic I enjoyed this one a lot, and I am biased so I get to put it where I want. I think I enjoyed it in a different way from the other grimdarks/let it stand on it's own, because unlike the other grimdarks it was an au instead of "awful things happen to canon characters," or "what if this one thing was different so they all die" it was au from the beginning, with the pitch of what if Earth already knew about aliens and intentionally led the keronians there, so when they got abandoned by the other invasion forces, all of the Keroro Platoon was left in a legitimately dangerous place with all of the pekoponian characters being villainous and tainted in some sort of way (well. Except maybe Momoka. I can't recall if I made her evil like the rest of them. I think she just grabbed Tamama, similar to how she did in canon to make him her pet because Fuyuki had one too. I think maybe out of the human characters I somehow made her the least evil because no matter what situation she is in he main priority will always be Fuyuki, au or not.)
Memory Sea: This one I'd also legitimately maybe rewrite into it's own main thing and I have ideas. And no it's not because of the pirates, despite the fact that I have now watched all of One Piece pirates are not really my genre. But I liked this one because alternating main characters and because I think Saburo's character in specific was interesting! I also liked that this au was based off of a canon au and so that made it stand apart from the other aus! Also it had a lot of world building stuff. Idk it was just kinda neat.
…I can't remember what I ended up doing with Dororo and Koyuki in this one though…Which is funny because I swear in most of these I was like "I really slept on Dororo and Koyuki and am liking them a lot more on the reread than I did when writing this!" only to immediately forget about every plot point they were ever involved in in these fics. The true Dororo curse.
Sin of Hope: The writing isn't good per-say…And some of the concepts are extremely dumb (why did I need to add in extra virtues? The world will never know) but there were things I genuinely liked about this one, and it had creativity in the world building and relationships that some of the other aus lack, so I think this one might be one of them that I actually rewrite? Also I'm a sucker for multiple characters being the main character and being juggled. Idk. I could be biased because this is my forever phone background, or I could be biased because I've thought about this one for a month straight. Idk.
A Tier (I liked them!)
Wingman: This fic is WHY heartbeat lies ranked so badly. Because I read this fic and had a much more fun time, and it was also a romantic fluff with no death. I think what I learned from reading this fic which also had miscommunications and it's own share of cringe just like heartbeat lies, was something I should have learned from a lot of these fics. The fact that Saburo IS in fact important to Kururu's relationship. And that he can be a main character too! Adding in a third person and a focus on friendship just made this fic a lot less cringey than the other romantic fluff in my book. I enjoyed it. Maybe it was also because I have fond memories of writing it/can remember the time in my life exactly of writing this one, just like tranquility clash, where this one was supposed to be mostly about adolescents moving onto the next cycle of life and that moving on and change is not actually a bad thing. …Of course some of the ideas in this fic came across as a little insensitive especially to aromantic people because I was in my phase of "romance is the most important thing in the universe!" instead of looking into the mirror and seeing the asexual in front of me lmao. So it's not an S tier or anything.
The Harvest: Okay, so this one is ALSO an emo grimdark fic where the characters die, but despite that I had a lot more fun reading it than some of the others? I think it's because it makes the most sense that the characters would so drastically change if Keroro were the one to die, and I again, enjoyed when the characters were all being used to do different things, even if they were being used to do out of character things. Anyway, I had fun reading it and that's all that mattered!
Tranquility Clash: I actually really enjoyed rereading this one! This one and Memory Sea are also two that I could legitimately see myself reworking into something original. I like that it switched off between two main characters (Keroro and Momoka) I liked how the humans and the keronians were in two different kingdoms and I also liked how it helped me work through some heavy topics like homophobia, with one kingdom being perfectly accepting and another being not so accepting! I also liked this one because family relationships and friendships weren't neglected for the romantic relationships although some of the main romantic relationships still felt main (Kerotama specifically.) I'm noticing a trend in these where if Keroro gets to be the main character it ends up being more enjoyable to me. Hmmm almost like I should have used THE MAIN CHARACTER more often!
Valued Bonds: My sister might be right that the main problem with this one is that it is not in fact a spy fic because I was using barbie spy squad as the example of what spies did, and it ended up just being superheroes instead of spies. Oopsie! No spying was done in this fic. AND YET…It still ending up being really fun/I liked all the relationships and I think it's because unlike Bloody Fever, the friendships were equally if not more important than the romantic relationships in this one. And I am a sucker for that. There were so many little microrelationships. Also whenever I reread this one I would skip the second arc because there were no Kururu and Mois, and so thus I was not motivated to reread but Dororo and Koyuki's story was interesting too and I seriously slept on it? I really liked Koyuki in this fic. Like sure, everyone was out of character, as we've established in ye old fanfic, but I had fun in this one. I don't know if I could ever turn it into anything original, because again, it very clearly isn't spying and I think because there isn't any powers it couldn't be superheroes either, but it was cool!
End of All Sense: Okay, this one is somewhere in the A to S for me, and no, it's not because it was well written or had the best shipping. I just don't think I truly appreciated until now how horrifying the body horror I wrote was. I was kinda like "who wrote this? Wait, it was ME! Neato." Like I don't think any of the other fics have such a high level of body horror. End of All Sense felt less like a grimdark fic where the frogs die for no reason (even though I'm pretty sure it was basically that) and more like I was reading a horror fic. And I think it's because of the genre/tone that it sets itself apart.
Life Delete: This one, similarly, also isn't good or well-written, and yet, from the start to finish it was entirely mine. I could tell when rereading it it was just purely written for me, that I kinda knew the fandom was a little dead by that point, and yet I wrote it all for myself anyway and published it despite, what I remember, being a huge lack of recognition for it! It had all sorts of things I specifically liked, the platoon having to leave Earth, Angol Mois focus, amnesia trope my beloved…And each of the frogs had to deal with their human partners friendship in a different way. I liked it! It was a lot of fun! Not the best written, mostly because can remember it being a little sexual in humor because I think I might have been trying even harder to feel like everyone else and pretend that there wasn't something I wasn't fundamentally not getting, verses accepting that I am asexual and making characters have sex anyway like now, but it was a fic all in all for me. So I think it got its job done. It was also the first one I reread in all of this trip.
The World You Want: Short, sweet, Dororo being a main character? Mois and Dororo bonding? I liked this one. It was a fun "reverse personality" fic, and I remember both having fun writing it, and having fun reading it. I wish I could write short fic again. My biggest complaint though is the kissing scenes were not good. Oopsie! That one is on me, my kissing writing skills were very lacking.
A world where Tamama is bff's with Angol Mois and she's the one annoyed by him is so funny though.
I am realizing I legitimately do not remember what I did to Saburo in this fic and am wondering now if this is another one I forgot about him LMAO. Oopsie! Choose your fighter, villain Saburo for no reason, or forgotten about Saburo hahaha…(I am SO sorry)
S (Fave):
Shattered Wings: Shattered Wings and concept I have not yet re-read. I am predicting S tier for both of them. So let's just put them both in S tier. They are long, and I will get to them. I think I reread Shattered Wings a few years ago, it's one of the few I do genuinely reread/hope to save by rewriting and it was one of the most fun fics I have written despite the numerous plotholes.
Magical Keroro's Editing War: I really liked this one. I found it fun! I think it can be easily deduced I liked aus a lot from looking at my old work. But I also found it really fun when it was aus working off of canon, like canon characters go to au universe. Magical Keroro's editing war was that, they go into a virtual reality machine and unfortunately Keroro's bad storytelling makes all of the human characters act terribly ooc. It was about tropes, fanfic, ooc-ness, and what happens when two people both make edits without telling the other person they have in fact made edits. I kinda liked the self-referential humor here.
The Jerk who cried wolf: Out of the fluff stories that's just romantic comedy, this was my favorite of the multichapter completed sgt frog works. I just liked it I think because it leaned in more to the comedy and like Wingman the viewpoint character was not either of the characters in a romance. It was just Keroro being dense af. Sure, it had some scenes I cringed at, miscommunication is fun to use in romantic stories, there's a reason it's in so many shoujo manga but it's easy to have too much and then cringe from it, but ehhh there was enough other moments that I'll forgive it for that. I liked the spin the bottle battle. Giroro would absolutely bring a gun into spin the bottle. It would not work out for him. I stand by this.
Concept: Similarly to Shattered Wings, have not reread it yet but I am predicting I will enjoy it just because I do remember enjoying it last reread. I just hope I didn't kill characters randomly in the end (I might have.) but I like that I had a kerotama main fic on my account in a world of gironatsu and kurumois. Kerotama deserved to be the stars in more than one fic and it is disappointing I did not give them what they deserved.
