one of the reasons i love old mlp grimdarks is that most of them had the most insane concepts like: "what if pinkie pie was a cannibalistic serial killer who loved torturing people and baking them into cupcakes?" or "what if rainbow dash secretly killed pegasi who couldn't fly in order to turn them into rainbows?"

i lowkey want to see this energy brought back. not just with mlp but with completely unrelated fandoms like idk undertale or something like that

Damn, did I seriously not post this in 2023? Anyway, this is a fan art of Dash from the comic "Ghosts Of Ponyville" , the style of which really resonated with me. It has a very nostalgic feel to it, reminding me of some cartoons from the 2000s? Hah, I don't know how objective this view is, but nevertheless, this is what attracted me so much. Unexpectedly for me, a whole series with creepy ponies in this style was born in my head. And I imagined my favorite Rainbow Factory well in this comic. I have a few more unfinished sketches for this thing, maybe one day their time will come... 🧪
