Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Amber Smith as Iris:
Goddess of the Rainbow 🌈
In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Iris is a daughter of the gods Thaumas and Electra, the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods, a servant to the Olympians and especially Queen Hera. Iris links the gods to humanity and was once described as being a link to the heavens and earth too. Amber was chosen because in Love From Outer Space, she acts as a link between Earth and the Stars.

Temperance and Iris flowers
Today I noticed a beautiful correlation between balance and beauty. In the Temperance tarot card the angel has one foot in the water and one on land : she is at peace both spiritually and materially. Flowers bloom at her feet. And my heart just screamed at yellow flowers. The yellow iris is gifted for passion. The iris flower, named after the rainbow goddess were also planted on the Graves of those people loved to send a message to the afterlife.
Iris denotes faith, wisdom, communication and eloquence
White Iris are used in bridal bouquets for purity and patience cuz we all know a marriage requires Devotion. And your spouse can be super annoying - imagine getting married to someone who chews popcorn too loud when you're trying to watch a movie for the next 50 years if your lifeee. So like I said, white is for patience.
Blue iris is for faith and hope. Gift these to someone going in for an exam or important meeting to show encouragement.
Purple is for royalty. So like, I'd just buy them for myself 😂👑💜

IRIS
Happy Easter Long Weekend 🌈🌈🌈
Iris (meaning “rainbow” in Greek) was the divine messenger of the gods in Greek mythology. She’s sometimes depicted as golden-winged, sometimes said to have traveled along rainbows down to earth rather like a Hellenic Rainbow Brite. When not delivering news, she filled up her pitcher with water and watered the clouds, allowing them to rain. Her husband was Zephyros the West Wind. There’s some debate as to whether she had a son or whether he was actually Aphrodite’s son Eros in another form. Or maybe Eros’ son. Her brother was a river god, which sort of makes sense. They’re both water-related.
Her fraternal twin sister Arke (whose name I can’t find a translation for, but which certainly seems similar to Latin arcus, “rainbow”) is less well known, but she had rainbow wings and betrayed the gods, losing her wings as punishment. While a rainbow symbolized Iris, Arke was the more faint rainbow you see in double rainbows.
For my own interpretation of Iris, I liked the idea of a somber, raincloudy figure with brilliant dragonfly wings.
Nowadays, Iris is considered the goddess of getting Goo Goo Dolls songs stuck forever in your head.
