Some media such as The Big Bang Theory portray autistic characters as extremely smart. On top of that, some media focusing on autistic characters are created without any autistic people involved in production. (I'm looking at you, Sia's Music 2021).

You can notice a stereotype or two of autism in some TV shows, books, movies and more. These depictions cause more harm than people (especially Americans) want to admit.

Seems an American jumped to conclusions about Mercury.
