Hahaha!  Yeah, I’m working on a story that brings in Mirror!Spock in a nasty way.  Just writing that scar in now.  He’s going to do some bad things, this Vulcan.

Yeah, communication is something I struggle with.  I tend to try to solve things myself to protect others from my problems, second-guess everything, get frustrated, and ultimately feel like I’m a complete idiot.  So...I’ve got a lot to work on.

Honestly, from my experience as a beta, I’ve found that having a beta actually helps that insecurity and really builds self confidence for a writer uvu that’s always something to think about I suppose

Thanks!  That makes a lot of sense, and I think I might try to go about finding someone.  There’s something so comfortable with writing in one’s own space that then develops scary cracks as soon as it’s opened to others, but I want to put something good out there for other fans to enjoy, so I might need to get over myself.  :)

You are correct.  I just opened the file and immediately changed three things, re-read it, and then changed them back.  It’s probably time.
