thought dump about dan thorns from episodes 1-8 cause I haven't watched the newest one yet :thumbs up:

(a lot of this is pulling from connorsnothere's posts bc they give intriguing tidbits that worsen my brain rot)

he has many names? we've heard three of them. but from the way Connor phrased it it sounds like there might be more. we know what is presumably his given name and then what is his simplified version of it. but then there's flame walker? which presumably has something to do with his magic?

speaking of his magic, golden flames?

....hes a fire coded character. he is so much a fire coded character. can be soft and warm and helpful or destructive and, well, fiery. and when people think of fire usuallly its destructive tendencies come to mind first. (new drawing idea unlocked)

also he's a folk hero, but doesn't seem super.. interested in people knowing? doesn't seem like a big deal to him. which is just interesting to me.

what happened to his family? are they ok? from connors posts, we know he was a dude who loved his family. why havent we seen them? or even heard of them outside of Connors Tumblr?

also Dan is a boyliker.

i have a really weird relationship with my humanity. Like yeah I'm human but also I'm not? The closest comparison I have is a changeling. A nonhuman thing within a human skin. It also ties into my gender (and desire to be a shapeshifter) because I wasn't originally my agab. But I pretend to be, it's the role I was given but not always the one I am

I've always felt very tied to nature and particularly the sky in a way that wasn't typically. It showed up in different way throughout the years but it was always there. I don't know how long this realization will be applicable but it is for now.

(thank you @chess-here for helping me realize inhumanity was a thing that was not unnatural.)

Feeling thankful for all my mutuals! I'm only gonna tag the ones I interact with though but if you want to be added to the list just ask.

@sardonic-the-writer one of my first mutuals and the reason I am on this site. you never fail to make me laugh, sardine. Thanks for sticking with me (and me! -🌈) through the craziness of 2022. Also SBI playlist. No one else will get that but its fine.

@gh0st-b0ys one of my closest mutuals. You make me smile even when I'm not talking to you. You're so sweet and I totally do not have a wall of drawings of sheet ghosts because of you.

@112-writes I think were mutuals but my memory is horrid. Either way I'm close enough with you for you to make it on this list. Your posts are deranged in the best of ways. You've helped me with creativity both directly and indirectly.
