Personality: Reliable, extremely loyal to the warrior code and those around him, gullible, diplomatic and fair-minded cat. Due to his tendency of easily trusting cats he has just met, he has been betrayed in some occasions, his gullible nature sums up to this even though he seems to not notice it. He is extremely loyal to the code though firmly believes that cats that break it should not be punished but given as many opportunities as needed so they can learn how to follow and love the warrior code. He prefers to stay diplomatic and will only use his claws if extremely necessary. Though loyal to his clan, Rainpath always tries to keep his mind neutral when resolving problems with other clans since he can understand that Seaclan is not perfect and everyone can hold blame in every skirmish. Because of his long fur he has some swimming problems that don’t allow him to swim as well as some of his fellow clanmates. He is very good at mentoring since his reliability, soft and caring nature makes him a magnet for younger apprentices and warriors that need a parental figure to trust on. He is extremely popular in both his clan and outside of it.

Story:

Kit- He was born alongside his sister Blackthroat and while the young black kitten showed interest in legends and stories since short age, Rainpath felt more connected to the warriors in the clan and wished to become one himself. He was best friends with Tornpelt and Hazeltail since really young.

Apprenticeship- He proved to be a fast learner though he had problems with swimming since his really long fur made him swim slowly and so couldn’t catch much fish. He was good friends with everyone and his relationship with his sister, Tornpelt and Hazeltail made them an inseparable group where they helped each other through everything.

Warrior- Became a –path cat because most younger apprentices would go to him when they had problems and he showed great skill in taking care of them. He was given an apprentice pretty early and enjoyed training them so much that he continued mentoring one apprentice after other. When he wasn’t mentoring he always had other warriors’ apprentices with him since he liked to know how they were doing, he quickly became a mentor supervisor and a huge dad for all apprentices. He does really like younger kittens too and when given the chance he actually loves to spend time with them. Tornpelt decided that she wanted to be mother and trusted Rainface with the task of being this kittens’ father; Rainpath gladly accepted and become father to Sandclaw, Shellclaw and Vervainpelt. He would babysit Hazeltail’s kittens and actually has a great relationship with Otterstar and Pebblefoot since then. His first apprentice was Privetcloud. The young tom quickly became a good mentor figure for others just like Rainpath is. He then trained Pebblefoot and Cherryflower at the same time. Pebblefoot seemed to need help with socialization and being trained at the same time as Cherryflower, a very social cat, helped her very much. He grieved Hazeltail’s death for a long time and spent a lot more of time with Tornpelt who been Hazeltail’s life mate. Vervainpelt died after receiving her warrior name when a no-fur’s hound found her wandering alone far away from camp, what was she doing there alone is still a mystery. Rainpath keeps a good relationship with both his children though feels guilty about Vervainpelt. He admires Sandclaw’s seriousness and efficiency as a warrior and enjoys Shellclaw loud and cheerful nature.  He was one of the first ones supporting Reedstripe when she joined the clan.

Deputy-He took the news of Otterstar’s leader naming with both surprise and fright, he knew that the young cat would make a fine leader though not so soon. When Otterstar requested his services as the clan deputy Rainpath tried to decline but was convinced by his sister of accepting the offer. He could understand that the clan needed him more than ever. As a deputy, Rainpath still finds the time to spend with apprentices and youngster in general even if he can’t be mentor as much as he would like to; he also likes to spend a lot of time with kittens when they reach the age of becoming apprentices just to make sure that he knows them well enough to assign them a mentor they feel comfortable with. His experience helps Otterstar cope with warriors that wary of having such a young leader. Rainpath also was the one that assigned Ibispaw as Otterstar’s apprentice since he thought that the apprentice could learn something from Otterstar and still not have their pride hurt for not having “a mentor worth her level” and Ottestar needed an apprentice as fast as he could. He also helps keeping other clans’ leaders away since they showed a lot of interest in Seaclan’s territories when Otterstar was named leader. He loves spending time with his sister and encourages her to rest because, as far as she is concerned, she could go for days without sleeping. He treats Otterstar as his son and his very proud of him. Sandclaw and Shellclaw will always be his little kittens and he loves reminding them of that.
