it wasnât like a vague at anyone in particular lol. i was actually thinking about todayâs prosperity gospel, how these preachers cherry pick quotes from their bible to justify the money they amass from their sermons, when the overarching theme of jesusâs teachings is to give away wealth.Â
like how anything is interpreted, when a quote is separated from its context it might not represent the overall theme of the work. lmao itâs the âi think coolsville sucksâ thing at work.
itâs important whenever you make a new unverified personal gnosis about anything to ask what made you draw that conclusion. was it out of thin air, was what prompted taken out of a larger context, does it deviate greatly from the overall spirit of the context?Â
