It gives him a unique relationship with getting to know people , as he relies more on how they act to understand who they are , leading to his whole inner melody thing

And , as Viperion , he can sense the individual timelines of those around him , making him more aware of when he needs to intervene , like an instinct

He senses the trees rather than the forest , but for his purpose it's exactly how he should be

Hiiiiii I have more miraculous thoughts 🫶🫶🫶

Personally I think the whole " miraculous magic kinda fucks with your brain just a little bit so you don't recognize someone who looks exactly the same as their civvies " thing is kinda iffy in most aspects

I think it would be more fun if the miraculous changed aspects of their appearance and voice to actually properly disguise them , just generally make them more androgynous and as such further from their civilian appearance

For example , the dudes' features all softening up , maybe getting longer hair , Chat Noir for example gets a wolf cut ( nod to his design from the original anime concept ) . The gals , meanwhile , become more defined and their hair gets pulled back or shortened in different ways . Their voices also tend to have this sort of buzz to it , making it harder to recognize them and making it impossible to run them through recognition software
