Re•boot || Closed RP with rain-of-laki

Two weeks.

That were fourteen days, three-hundred-thirty-six hours in which his parents were out of the house, out of the country. The best thing? They left him completely alone in this time, for the first time in his life. The second best thing? He could play on his PS3 the whole day, the whole night without the nagging voice of his beloved mother penetrating his ears as if there was no tomorrow. He loved his old lady, even if he would never call her old out loud. He was too young to die. Nevertheless, the prospect of spending his youthful summer so unbelievable uselessly had him plaster a too big grin on his slightly tan face. Mathias was happy about spending his time inside, with unhealthy food and most importantly- with his new game. Battlefield: Bad Company 3 was the name of said game, promising words of guns and action- war. With others. Online.

Perfect.

Excitement spread through his veins like a disease, the smile on his face getting bigger as he put the CD into the console with utmost softness and put on the headphones shortly after. Grand. He couldn't help the feeling, the complete independence as he started the game like a king beginning his war. The first settings were easy, the connection to the online server as well- if it wasn't for the name he was going to choose. The little wheels inside of his blond head began turning, slowly until he found the perfect name for himself. Vikingking. Simple enough, his heritage should not be hidden. He wasn't a proud Dane for nothing, after all.

It didn't take him long for get the gist of the game and its flow, as well as  a rather funny companion with a strong accent and a soft voice. How he noticed something like that? Rather easy, after all- normally boys screamed and cursed but not this one. There were huffs and weird little noises, which had him laughing and the other to hiss silently at him. It was fun. The game was fun. The boy whom he called Volcano so easily was fun. And probably the only reason why he spend his time nonstop playing, talking, laughing. He found out a lot the first week, that the others name was Fannar, that he lived in Iceland and was just a year and half younger than himself. That he loved his land and games, as well as the thermal baths as long as he was not completely naked or alone. After only nine days it was becoming routine for him to turn on the game and find the Icelander waiting for him, with an amused good morning. Maybe the feeling of friendship made him ask the question, maybe he was just bored out of his mind without having any real contact outside of his game.

"Oi, Fannar- got a Skype?" The Dane asked rather sudden, leaving the other speechless on the other line, before the soft voice went even more silent. "I do?" A grin and Mathias paused the game, leaning his back on the front of the couch as he stretched. "Ya know what? I think we should really Skype- how 'bout it?" "Skype as in..?" "Well, as in bein' face to face, ya know?" He was curious, so very curious of how the other looked, what kind of person he was- it was impossible for him o get out now. "C'mon, ya can't look that hideous!" Easy words, reaction to the silence on the other line. A sigh. "Fishlover is the name, Fannar the displayed one." Throwing his headphone to the side, he practically jumped up from his position on the floor, his long and lanky legs quickly carrying upstairs where his laptop waited. While turning it on with one hand, he quickly started throwing on a shirt with the other. No time to lose, he was that curious.

Fishlover. Fannar.

One click and he got him, online! Grabbing the laptop, Mathias situated himself on his messy bed and pressed the videochat button.

No escape any more.

Opinion on;

Character in general: I LOVE ICELAND and I always will because he's a fucking adorable thing I wanna hug and love- How they play them: I might have loved Iceland before yours, but you truly made him absolutely perfect. Not only with our muses being in a relationship, but with every thread you have because you give him such live and reason- I just love yours you know that.The Mun: Lana. Lana is the major reason why I'm staying on this site at all and this girl has probably more power over me than any other person here. It might sound overly dramatic, but I just adore her a lot and I'm so fucking lucky that she thinks so highly of me. I love her, don't hurt her because I probably will start hating you after that.
