i think this album is literally the perfect balance between the very atmospheric stuff he does on summertime and rpbmh and the amount of personality and storytelling he does on fm and prima donna. its like just on that line before you lose him. cant think of a more aptly self titled album. it really feels so counter to him saying that whole “i only make music for sync listing” shit

i liked them the day they debuted but when their ages came out and then all of that min heejin shit came out in the following month i kinda just decided to not engage with them at all

the premise to the song is maybe kinda a little dumb at first glance but everything about it is just so sincere that im like damn....im actually really sorry you have to go through that. every aspect of this is so well thought out and sincere and theres a really genuine melancholy in her voice the whole time. like this is a real performance

i used to make fun of this song because i was like “damn they are really always singing about men” especially with me and michael on the same album but now i really adore the idea of having a really sweet and tender love song about your best friend on your album. is all this probably a lil gay
yeah but who cares. its a very nice song. good for them and whatever the hell they got goin on.
