I was nominated for this thing-a-ma-bob by the lovely oldbooksandnostalgia to answer some questions, all of which are about books. Thank you! Alright so the questions I was asked were...

1. What is the first book you remember adoring (or rather, that had a special place)?

2. What book are you currently reading? What is the last book you finished?

3. What is your favorite book you read as a part of required reading (i.e school)?

4. What book that you own is in the worst physical shape? Why is it like this?

5. If you could choose to live in the universe of any book/series for the rest of your life, what would it be? What would be the last universe you would want to be stuck in?

1. The first book I remember adoring was probably The Magic Treehouse or Nancy Drew. I bought all the books I could get my hands on or checked them out of the library! Or maybe it was A Series of Unfortunate Events...I can't remember when I started reading these.

2. I am currently read A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway and I believe the last book I finished was Fire by Kristen Cashore.

3. My favorite book I've read for school (excluding TFIOS) would have to be The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. 

4. Ummm I try to keep my books in relatively good condition, but one of my copies of the Hobbit is in pretty bad shape. I've had it for a while, dropped it in water, and brought it on vacation with me in my suitcase so...

5. HARRY POTTER. It actually makes my heart ache to think that I don't go to Hogwarts. As for the last universe I"d want to be stuck in...maybe like, the Hunger Games, because I'm such a wimp and can't even kill the fruit flies in my biology labs let alone another human being.

And now I guess it's questions I want to ask the people I tag! Hmm...

1. What book are you dying to have a movie adaptation to?

2. Has there been a book that you've wanted to like so badly, but just couldn't get into? 

3. Is there a character you aspire to be like (who acts as a role model)? How so?

4. Has there been a character in a book who is described not only similar physically, but personality wise? 

5. If you were to name a child after something (character, object, place) from a book, what would it be and why?

6. Why do you read?

That sounds like so much fun! If only I could pull off being Luna! She is my favorite character! :D
