dom & his 2 sisters were born in del sol valley, their immigrant parents are from selvadorada have instilled in them to have pride in their roots (mexican-american/chicano). dom's dream was to be a lawyer, but with his dad's arthritis rapidly getting worse during his high school years, & his mom's low-paying teaching job, dom decided to take care of his family & began working odd handyman jobs, until eventually landing a full-time gig at happy car mechanics, owned by eric lewis (they have a shrek-donkey kind of relationship). growing up, his peers always found him a bit cringe, but dom's enthusiasm for life have made him completely unaffected of how others perceive him. now 35, maybe he doesn't always know how to be completely serious, so he can come across immature. after his parents' struggles & him having to sacrifice his dreams, it really just is a front he puts to protect himself from difficult conversations. he takes his loved ones' problems very seriously, he just needs a little patience at first while developing a friendship/romance. now, at 35, he would like to have a family of his own. that is a dream he has not given up on.

⋆ he has been in 2 relationships, one with dina caliente during 7th - 12th grade but they agreed to break up & remain friends in order to explore their sexuality & individuality. the second was long-distance, his ex-boyfriend lived in tomarang, unfortunately their different schedules made them drift apart.

⋆ his family is very catholic, but when teenage dominic came out to them as bisexual, both of his parents started decorating the house with rainbows & his sisters took him to his first pride.

Traits and Aspiration: Overachiever, socially awkward, Gloomy, & Country caretaker

◊ Young Maxwell was the promising Golden star of Henford-on-Bagley as he entered the boxing world at the early age of 13. Everyone put their faith in him. In principle, these expectations bloated his ego, making all his family proud and offering the lonely and only child of the Santiago family a chance to be somebody. He was no longer the good-for-nothing kid in class. Nor the town's dwarf (small and hairy) boy. 

◊ The accidental display of strength working on the family farm seen by a headhunter could be helpful in the real world outside shearing llamas, carrying water buckets, and chasing and dodging foxes.

◊ Despite this good fortune for re-establishing those labels, Maxwell still found himself taking care of the farm animals late at night rather than socializing with other boxing enthusiasts after practice. 

◊ Inadvertently, he found his real passion.

◊ The years went on and all the awards started losing their luster. Championships mattered less and less, and even though Maxwell was one of the best, he walked away from the boxing world and still denies he was in his prime when he left.

«I could have lost any time, I left with my record unbeaten. Thirty wins, two ties, and no losses. My pride would have been severely damaged» answers whenever asked.

◊ But that smirk at the corner of his mouth tells a different story. 

◊ He bought himself a lot and cultivated a beautiful farm. Around his 30s, in the middle of his meditations, watching little ducks follow their mama, the image of having his own family struck him.

◊ Much like his farm, he managed to raise his son by himself, even if it was after long battles with the adoption center. But he passed away at the age of 10: A strange and unexpected case of pufferfish poison. Maxwell, of course, put the blame on his shoulders.

◊ Now, the rooster's cry, a glass of sheep's milk, and listening to the news on his pop’s radio have calmed his mind a little. At 49, Santiago's life is good and he is at peace… most of the time.

◊ He heard the announcement of Kiss Me in Mt. Komorebi on the radio. Putting his heart out there again, risking it to be hurt is way scarier than standing in the ring with the gloves up. 

◊ Despite his trembling hands, he filled out the form and submitted his application.

“I like this fella. I'm going for him”.

Now to the lot. Some simmers may have seen Shan's rant about not finding a matching lot. You guessed it - I offered help. 🤭 Now you have an exclusive opportunity to peek at the Sakura Bachelor Mansion hosted by her and her awesome dude, Daniel.😉

While building this lot - I’ve been inspired by a lofi-remix called Shinrinyoku 森林浴. Two and a half days later? I was happy with my final product. Believe me! Been switching between my open 45+ tabs, and build mode regularly. It goes without saying, yes, the in-game music was deactivated in build mode. A few days later, after a lot of coffee, some chats with screenshots, lofi-senpai vibes from Youtube on my mind, and browsing numerous real-life inspirations with dark Japandi interiors. I could finally finish this mansion. (30hrs+) 😆 😅 😎

While building this lot, I considered the following matters:

Japan's Regal traditional exterior. 

The interior combines a masculine, contemporary vibe with Japandi influence.

Enough space for some dope shots

Entry/Foyer

A ton of different cozy corners for chatting/flirting with Daniel😏

Huge dining/living area

Pool, gym, BBQ, gaming spot, chill gazebo, or elimination gazebo (optional).🤔

Ten bedrooms, some with their own bathroom.

One is a master bedroom for the host (includes a private bathroom).

Overall eight bathrooms are available on three levels.

This mansion has a third level. 

Down in the basement, you can enjoy a private, huge spa/onsen/massage/yoga/meditation area.

 Maybe for some steamy shots? 🤭 🤫

A spacious, all-black master bathroom is the show-stopper downstairs, featuring tons of thoughtful touches.😏

A massage here, a chat there. Maybe a bath session together? AAH, THE OPTIONS ARE ENDLESS. Can’t wait to see all the joy and pain  👀 🤭

Shan wanted a traditional lot. My idea was to opt for a traditional exterior design combined with a modern dark masculine Japandi interior. I convinced her, though. Combine the old with the new, and you have something refreshing, right?😌😉

What will happen to the lot after the challenge is over? I will provide a NOCC and this CC version. The idea of hosting a Bachelor Challenge in Mt. Komorebi sounds like a great idea. Maybe you will be the next 'Kiss Me in Komorebi+' host? 👀 Who knows, right?

a san myshuno native, he absolutely adores the fast-paced life there. he also loves spending time in oasis springs, going to all of the hottest spots in town. from an early age, he was one for his "flamboyant" nature and his affinity for his male celebrity crushes. it was no secret and no shocker when zay came out as a gay man in his early teens. his parents acceptance helped him thrive in his environment - becoming more and more of the man he is today. a high-maintenance man but he's a friend you absolutely love and need in your circle. he loves dancing and media and going to all different types of shows that he can! zay is aware that he's quite a bit younger than daniel, but as soon as he saw the man, he impulsively signed up. of course, he's definitely wanting to find someone to be with and is a romance lover deep at heart (he may have a thing for cliche's but he won't admit it). though, after submitting his application, he took the time to take a better look into the man he may possibly connect with and suddenly was filled with the prospect that maybe, for once, his impulsive nature was a good thing.

world-weary retired professor seeks companionship lightyears outside of his comfort zone.

josiah has never been one for reality tv. he isn't much for tv as a whole, honestly. he didn't hate it, he's that crotchety. but there were always books to read, or to write, always adventures to be had, always somewhere to be. so no, he isn't one to sit down in front of the television. unless, of course, it's to watch reruns of "your dad's garage".

god, he loved that show. he's a few years older than daniel, but that show popped into his life during a messy divorce, and he was instantly hooked. he was absolutely devastated when daniel got hurt and the show was cancelled. his prized possession is his collection of vhs tapes of all the seasons.

now, this long-time bachelor who wandered the world had enough adventures that he feels he can settle down and write about them. he was a professor at britechester for awhile, but he's too much of a vagabond to stay in one place for that long. currently, he's calling moonwood mill home; the locals are friendly enough and the town is full of stories. all he's missing is someone to share it with.

who better than the former host of the only tv show he's ever enjoyed?

josiah is 6'4", so definitely not a small man. his traits are bookworm, snob, and genius. he has the bestselling author aspiration, and i set him up with some skills and i think the coffee lover lifestyle? anyway, this bear of a man is a lil rough around the edges but he's really a softie - plus he's an endless supply of wild stories and weird facts. it's basically like dating an encyclopedia.
