Chewy Oatmeal Raisinet Cookies
Have I mentioned recently how beautifully Raisinet grew up?  She finally has a proper morelia head!  She’s so beefy!  I’m so proud of her.  She’s totally and completely docile, as well. :3  Such a beauty!
Raisinet went to the vet today.
Her cloaca was looking a bit red and angry, with just a tinge of possible scale rot.  The vet did an exam and found nothing wrong.  She also took a bit of the crusty stuff on her vent and looked at it under a microscope.  She thinks maybe Raisinet was dehydrated and had a hard time passing a stool, and that’s what irritated her vent.  I’m to put coconut oil on her butt to keep it moist so it doesn’t dry out.  If it doesn’t clear up in the next shed, then there may be some cause for concern, but it’s not infected and seems to be healing. Raisinet was a champ and even provided a fresh fecal sample for the vet!  Hooray.  She’s now safe and sound stuffed in her shelf. Admittedly Raisinet has been kind of a hands-off animal, if only because she’s so difficult to get out of her enclosure.  But now I’m going to make more of an effort to soak her to make sure she’s hydrated enough.  She never has bad sheds, but I don’t want her to be a hurt butt again ;3;
Raisinet does not like bathtime 😂#carpetpython #raisinet #junglecarpetpython

Have some video of Raisinet talking!
Thought I'd make an update on my animals!
Sniffie- He's fine! Â He's currently in his 55 gallon, enjoying himself. Â He ate last week but not this week, but I'm not concerned. Â He's like 6 or 7 at this point, he doesn't need to eat once a week. Raisinet - She ate last night! I'm so proud. Â She's definitely slowing down on feeding, but not on curiosity! Â She's become very curious and docile. Â She won't quite come out of her cage and climb onto you, but she will come out and climb onto the floor then look around! Â She's still suspicious of hands, but will use arms as branches as she pleases!
Bumble - She continued to lay a small handful of slugs after I thought everything was over. Â I am fairly certain she's done now. Â She's lost a decent amount of weight from that ordeal, but still seems alert, active, and last night she ate greedily for me. Hashbrown - Nothing really to report here! Â He's getting big, he's eating, he's pooping. Â He likes to hide behind square things, he doesn't really hang out in round hides. Â He likes to be a blockbrown. Pancake - She just shed a few days ago and ate last night! Â She's growing, too. Â I'm going to have to get her a larger enclosure soon. Beanbag - He's large and in charge! 108 grams, he's still the same sweet lump he's always been. Â Nothing really to report! Â I realized that his missing toenail has been missing for over a year so i freaked out over nothing. Penelope - She's taming down a bit surprisingly! Â She doesn't bite as much as she used to, but she's still very flighty and likes to jump. Â She's not afraid of heights, and will jump from my shoulder to the floor if I'm not careful. Â She is definitely the type of animal you can't take your eye off of for a second.
PLINKO- omfg i forgot about PLINKO! Â He's been doing a whole lot of nothing. Â He's kinda brumating right now, so he's been buried for months, only coming up for an occassional bite of food and some water. Â Boring baby.
Oh my god raisinet. Â I caught you changing.
