#transformationthursday Happy Thursday! While there is a physical transformation here, my mental transformation has been even bigger! When I had my daughter and even before I can even remember I have dealt with anxiety, depression, low self esteem & lack of confidence. I can remember way back that I had so much fear & no self confidence in myself. I pretended that everything was alright when in fact that I was screaming inside because I was so afraid of what others thought about me let alone when I had to travel for work by myself and how I would get there because I was so afraid what COULD happen! When I had my daughter I was even a nervous mommy not to mention the anxiety & depression I was dealing with especially with having our first child. I would worry about EVERYTHING! From feeding to sleeping to traveling with the baby! Let me tell you this was no way to live because it robbed you of so much! so when this opportunity came along I knew I wanted to try it! I wanted to feel more out of life and to not feel crippled by what others thought of me & to actually feel Free from the emotions that held me captive at times! It all started with my first accountability group. I know I wanted to feel healthy & that I needed to incorporate exercise into my life but I had no idea being a part of these groups would actually help me do just that! By working on myself & how I felt about me, I started feeling more confident because I could do it! The positivity that I would get in these groups were amazing!!!! We were there for each other cheering each other on! And you know what - that first month was amazing!!!! Not only did I feel inspired but I also felt more positive because I had others encouraging me as well. If you think you can’t do this or feel better about yourself think again!
