i know i haven’t gotten any further than the ending of chapter 16 but i have Opinions

like, if i was the mc i would have literally broken down into tears at rackpick destroying my wand like Wtf

i feel like the cursed vaults are very much a personal thing to the mc, and if i was in their place i would be so pissed at everyone stepping all over a family problem like jacob disappeared and the mc just wants to find out what happened to their brother but here’s literally dozens of people butting their way in by trying to make it a race not to mention merula and tulip considering jacob’s room to be their own and sure rackpick is acting like a mentor and all but i never liked her just taking over and not letting the mc in on their own needs

like, at this point i would be shutting out everyone and locking myself away trying to do everything on my own because i don’t trust anyone anymore
