You’d think that in the last book we’d get that classic moment where the protagonist swoops in to rescue his beloved from a tragic death in some big heroic act — y’know, reinforcing their bond and proving his undying love for her. But JKR’s Ginny doesn’t need saving by any man, because she’s badass like that. So Harry gets his big hero moment without Ginny.
Instead, he risks his own life against the cursed fire that can’t be put out and devours everything it touches —TO SAVE DRACO MALFOY. Damn, you can literally see how the whole thing fits the image of the knight pulling the damsel in distress onto his horse. I cannot deal with all this unintentional Drarry.
Sure, Goyle and Ron were there too (playing the “NO HOMO” alarm role for all of Harry’s behavior), but we all know Harry flew straight for Draco without thinking twice.
Y’know that “don’t tell, show” rule? It’s wild how many times the narrative tells us Hinny is amazing and real — but Harry’s own actions keep showing us Drarry.
lmao love how in the fiendfyre scene Ron is so desperately trying to convince Harry to not die for Draco and Harry is not having it.
Ron just like 'oh no. not his Malfoy thing. not NOW. I hate my life.'

And then he finds Draco holding Goyle who's unconscious and he just tries to grab Draco and ignores Goyle. Even though it would make sense to help the unconscious person first. Goyle probably only lives because Draco won't let go of him so finally Ron and Hermione come and get him so that Draco can get on Harry's broom.
Ron & Hermione must be so Done by that point.
