i remember the whole thing with d/anse being racist along with the rest of the bos which was really...bad because fo4 has some weird and very Bad allegories for racism and for preston i legit have met people claiming he doesn’t care about the sole and he is pushing a relationship on the sole without any regard about sole’s dead spouse and also that unless you help the minutemen he wont like you and that he is selfish, and i really needed to stop and consider if these people are being serious like just say you hate preston and go

So, I’m gonna blame this playlist to start with? It’s not really a set idea quite yet, but I’ve figured that it’s probably based either within or close enough to be under the protection of Goodneighbor in the Commonwealth. Hancock, not to mention a lot of the citizens of that settlement, would be more inclined to look out for the best interests of those in the brothel than Diamond City, no doubt.

If not actually in Goodneighbor then I possibly want to place it at whatever would be left of the Boston Opera House. Because, to be fair, when you’re mind is tugging inspiration from places like Moulin Rouge and Sucker Punch, you really want to include a dance hall. It sort of makes sense to combine the “entertainment” too.

I haven’t entirely flushed out the characters, but it’d be really fun to? I have a somewhat loose idea of there being a certain male prostitute that a male Sole Survivor, who had previously had to deal with a good deal of Old World homophobia, falls hard and fast for.

That seems to be a theme with the covers; if I had to guess symbolism I’d say it’s supposed to be like, a physical manifestation of thoughts? Last issue had a vhenadahl growing out of Vaea’s face. #4 has snakes coming out of an Orlesian man’s. (I’m guessing Orlesian because of the lion at the top of the mask.)
