Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog in

I recently discovered some more obscure Looney Tunes characters: Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog . I found them very cute, and there’s a lot of awesome, adorable art of them.

The concept of the cartoon is that they’re enemies during work hours and

friends outside of work. Basically a workplace satire.

The original shorts ended with a very wholesome episode where they walk home together. Unfortunately, there were more recent shorts of Sam and Ralph, and I found them repulsive and mean spirited. Ralph is humiliated and treated like dirt even outside of work. It doesn’t feel like workplace satire anymore. Instead, it feels like watching a character being abused in a toxic work environment he can’t leave.

So I did what any rational person would do. I drew an overly serious gay fan comic.
