one year ago i joined tumblr when i was drowning in a pit of my own mind. i had just finished reading harry potter for the hundredth time and i knew that i needed to stay in that world a little longer because it’s what kept me alive. that’s when i discovered the incredible work and devotion the tumblr community had brought to the wizarding world. i remember spending my entire days reading every possible post about the marauders and being impressed by what had been created. inspired by @marauderconvos and @maraudersapologies i created this blog and i have been blessed by your enthusiasm every day ever since.
during the night the counter passed 8000 and i cannot possibly imagine what it represents. i remember when you were 100 and it felt like the greatest gift ever. in a year the number has changed drastically but my excitation over each like, reblog or message from you hasn’t. i wish i could have all of you in my living room for tea and biscuits but oh well i might need to invest in a bigger house! thank you, all of you, sincerely, thank you.
