Death Has Come With All It Comprises | Abu Anas Maalik al-Lubnaani
Ubayy bin Ka’b رضي الله عنه Narrated, When One-Third Of The Night Would Pass, The Messenger (ﷺ) Of Allah Would Get Up and Call Out,
“O People, Remember Allah. The Rajifah (i.e, the first Blowing Of The Trumpet Which Will Shake The Whole Universe And Thus Cause All life To Cease Has Come, Followed By Ar-Radifah (i.e the second Blowing of the Trumpet which will restore life and mark the Resurrection day)” Death Has Come With All It Comprises, Death Has Come With All It Comprises!!!
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Frequently remember the destroyer of pleasures,’ meaning death.” [At-Tirmidhi].
The Messenger (ﷺ) tells us increase in the remembrance of death and explains to us the benefit of doing so, “Never does a servant remember it during hardship except that it will become easier for him, and never does he not remember it during ease except that it will become harder for him.”
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ
النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ
Every Soul Shall Taste Death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).. {Ali-Imran 185}
O’ You who have left of your prayers, The life of this world is an entertainment of deception. O’ You who have been misguided from the guidance of Allah, The life of this world is an entertainment of deception.
The dunya shall perish ikhwani wa akhwati filah, The Dunya will not remain and you will perish with everything upon it from the different enjoyments and entertainments.
Death will come to take you away whether you be in between your families, whether you be in between your loved ones, Death will snatch you away to be thrown into that dark hole and be covered in dirt.
The time of separation will come, no one will cure us or our loved ones when the soul is at the collar bone. Your mother is spending all she can in medication for you, so that she can live another moment for you, but the time of separation will come.
Your mother, your father, your friends and all those beside you, they do not want you to die, they do not want you to separate from this world. While you are witnessing, the Angel of Death,
Allah Az Wa Jal says in the Quran, and now he knows,
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ
And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation. {Al-Qiyamah, 28}
We are all going to die, it’s a reality that none of us can deny
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took me by the shoulder and said,
“Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer.”
And Ibn Umar رضي الله عنه went on to say, “In the evening do not expect [to live until] the morning, and in the morning do not expect [to live until] the evening. Take [advantage of] your health before times of sickness, and [take advantage of] your life before your death.”
Ikhwani wa akhwati filah, Do You? If You Reach The Evening Not Wait For The Morning? Does Anyone Of Us Not Wait For The Morning If We Reach The Evening? We Have Plans Ya Ibadallah, we have years worth of plans, as if we are never going to die.
