Alright so for lumberjanes week day four I got maybe a bit too into it and it got complex so instead of writing anything I'm just going to tell you about it all, so warning for a very, very long post-
So with a little brainstorming help from my dad, I came up with the idea to make a space au. The basic idea of this au is that four planets with different alien races have all realized each other exist, and so, in the hopes to make peace, they've gathered some of their willing teenagers on a planet without any sapient races, in the hopes that they'll make friends and inspire the rest of their races to do the same.
There are four alien races in this, and I'll explain them all before saying which characters fall into which- bear with me.
Tadordoks-
Tadordoks come from a cold and mountainous planet. They have long fur, and can glide on thermal currents, using flaps of skin which stretch from their ring and pinky fingers to their tails. They have canine muzzles, but instead of breathing through noses they have breathing vents on the underside of their necks. They place heavy importance on tradition and ritual. They are carnivorous mammals.
Vastune (pronounced vast-oon-AY)-
Vastune live on a planet that is a mix of desert and savanna. They have catlike faces, six paws (only the middle set has opposable thumbs), and cooling frills down their backs. They've adapted into to outwardly different subspecies- one is tall, short-furred, and has long frills, while the other is short with long fur and short frills. The former are more active during the day, and the latter at night. They highly value creativity and intelligence. Vastune are omnivorous marsupials.
Adliikans-
Adliikans live on a jungle planet. They have large, squared-off ears, and wide eyes. They have rather scruffy fur. Their nostrils are located under their eyes. Their hands and feet are very large and rotate very far. Their tails are prehensile. The underside of their tails, arms and bellies are all covered in thick, rough skin. They live in very large family groups. They are omnivorous mammals.
Finowing-
Finowing live on a cold planet filled with misty forests and steppe. Their backs are covered in long and shaggy fur, while their undersides and heads are scaled. They have horns and short tusks. Their heads are reptilian, and they have three nostrils on each side of their snout. Because of past conflicts on their world, they tend to have rather serious attitudes, but they have a great love of culture. They are egg-laying herbivores.

Tadordok: Molly, Diane, Emily
Diurnal Vastune: Jo, Abigail
Nocturnal Vastune: April, Wren, Rosie
Adliika: Ripley, Barney, Mackenzie
Finowing: Mal, Hes, Jen
