And the icing on the cake is that the big sales end Saturday. So extra last minute shoppers are SoL.

There is a wicked tale, as old as the heavens and the world below the crust of the realm. Of a warrior who’s righteous justice shined bright over the prison into a new dawn. Their heroism and actions spread amongst the people, “Hooray for the hero! Hooray for our safety”escaped from their lips. The people felt that no matter what came their way, be it goblin or menacing lord.. it would not matter. For their brilliant warrior would triumph over the challenge all the same. But not all this remained true, as the people had not heard the entire of the tale for this being. Like the sun shining bright in the sky, a shadow will always loom beneath every person or building or creature, relentlessly stalking till the ends of time. The same.. could be said for this hero, a shadow looming closely by, doing the gritty work that the hero… well let’s just say this part of the story is a bit fuzzy to memory. All that can be said is even with the light above your head, be wary for whom the bells toll.

current mood: waiting for proper pictures of txt in heels to drop a very mediocre joke

3am observations: part 395 actually

actually now that ive rewatched stories untold just now, a lot of the playthrough foreshadowed what we’ve seen so far:

part 1: typically horror game, framing the true story of the game without us knowing. outro clip of an intruder invading jack’s room, jack is trapped in the tv. clip basically framing this current situation of anti trapping jack in a coma, in a reality away from the egos.

part 3 with the station and the various codes being hints of the real story and the transmissions being the parents reaching out to james while in a coma. basically foreshadowing “try to fall asleep”

part 4 i just mentioned with the ending mirroring the ending of exiles. 

also either part 4 or part 2 (both dealing with james’s confrontation of his memories, part 2 resulting in a psychotic episode because he was to terrified, and part 4 resulting in the conclusion of what he did) kinda mirroring jack facing his memories of his traumatic event (cough ANTI cough) which included the ending of dark silence where jack was terrified with the confrontation.

idk im tired and ive been looking at jack’s blood-ridden face for several hours so i could draw it haha, but it’s interesting to think

(bonus thought: dr alexander is revealed to have been always watching you/james just not in the same room at times/with the orbs. maybe that’s why we haven’t seen Dr. schneeplestein? even though we havent seen him since he came back, maybe he’s been keeping watch all this time as well? and maybe in a way, we’re schneeplestein’s “orbs”, where we’re always watching what’s happening with jack because we can see the moments that the egos arent able to see (because they’re not in the same “room” as jack)?)
