So those chains right? These ones?
Well, after watching the trailer a few times I recognized them. The pattern in the chains, at least. They've been shown before here in Birth By Sleep
And again here in 2.8
But theres one obvious difference between these chains and the ones shown in the kingdom hearts 3 trailer, and its that these chains are golden.
The chains are no doubt connected to Terra, and more specifically Terras struggles with trying to keep Xehanort within him contained, seeing as they only appear when Terra is fighting with Xehanort. But why are they suddenly purple? I mean, which character's color is purple-
Oh. Right.
So all of this is confusing and its mostly due to me not being the best at explaining my thoughts, but what am I getting at here?
Well, the chains are connected to Terra's struggles with who has control over his heart, purple is heavily associated with Terranort, and we see the chains wrapping up the people who have ties to Terra's heart.
My theory is that the tables have turned on Terranort, as Terra is the one who has the upper hand with his frienda nearby, so terranort uses these chains to try and cut off the lights from Terras friends.
Is it a little disjointed? Sure. Is it kinda confusing? What part of the series isn't.
