REVIEW: Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King

If it's cheap, it's always good. If costs more than $5, it's never delicious. Doesn't matter who pays for it. 

Today I brought my dad to Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King where every bowl is essentially a giant serving of guilt. Salty. Lardy. Unhealthy. Just the way he likes everything – especially if it's cheap. 

Black Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen Special $15.80 (background Tonkotsu Ramen Special $14.80) The moment he saw the ramen, his eyes lit up with surprise. The portion was more generous than he'd imagined, if he did imagine it at all. And he was pleased with the freebies that cluttered our table. Hard-boiled eggs and pickled tao geh. A whole line-up of condiments. Then he asked me how much it cost.

Dad never said anything else about the meal and we talked about other things. Mum told me later that night, he said he was never gonna pay so much for instant noodles again.
