SPOILERS sort of. I know the ending of Yu Yu Hakusho is a little polarising, but personally I really liked it. Just, Yusuke setting up his ramen stall makes me happy, feels like a real cap on his character arc.
Ramen Yatai 🍜
Tried to capture the warmth that those ramen stalls give off, absolutely love their energy
Maybe one day I’ll add people to this scene lol

what’s playing: Give Me Something - Jarryd James
It has been a rather eventful week, and I got really lazy when it comes to writing here.
Tuesday
I hung out with my best friend, Steph. We went for an afternoon cycle while sharing our trip to Taiwan. She went to Taiwan too, but she did more hiking than shopping. She shared with me her experiences and the people she went with.
We cycled for roughly two hours, and covered quite a distance. We wanted to go further to Bedok Reservoir, but I was physically drained and my ass hurt.
After cycling, we went back to Vegan Burg. I really love the nature themed restaurant, and the awesome food. I ordered avocado beetroot burger while she got herself a teriyaki and pineapple burger. Vegan Burg has really nice fries, but the boiled broccoli was equally delicious too. We ordered spinach pops too, it was something like fried mashed potato ball with spinach in them. It was a really, really good meal.
We couldn’t decide what to do afterwards, so we wound up going to her place. I haven’t gone over in ages, and it was still as cool as I remembered. We watched the last two episodes of Descendants of the Sun. The drama was really good, but the horrible ending was so horrible. It left a huge impact in my heart and I think I’m gonna stick to the world of 2D for a while longer.
Wednesday
In the evening, I hung out with my friends who interned with me at the theatres during my internship. We went to Ramen Stall for dinner. It is one of the few halal ramen shops locally, so we were pretty psyched and all. I ordered volcano ramen, with level 1 spiciness. Pauline ordered the normal chicken ramen, Rajan ordered the kimchi ramen and Afidah ordered soba.
When the food came, we were practically starving. The chicken ramen was just, chicken and ramen. The kimchi ramen was chicken ramen, with kimchi on it. And my spicy ramen, was just chicken ramen with a scoop of chilli paste (which was a hell lot spicy). The most disappointing thing was probably the soba, because it was literally cold noodles and nothing more. But the service was not bad, and the cold drinks were refillable, which was very assuring for me. I was dripping snot thanks to the spiciness of the ramen.
After dinner, we went to La Marelle at haji lane because we wanted to chill and catch up more with each other. It was a cute cafe, the cakes and drinks were a little pricey but really nice. We chatted and listened to a story of how Rajan shot someone in the ass back in India.
The night was really young, so went to get a couple of drinks along Princep Street. It was beer I craved for, and I got what I wanted.
Friday
I woke up early to get to school. I met up with my boyfriend at the bus stop before heading off to pick up our graduation gowns. After the long and painful process of getting the gowns, we went to eat kkm. I only get to eat that whenever I see him because for sure, I wouldn’t travel to the west just for a bowl of noodles. We hung out together, watching anime or random videos, and playing CSGO.
At night, I went back to the theatres to work. It was strike, and it end approximately 3 am. God. My brain had already shut down.
Saturday
After two hours of sleep, I went for some job training at Bugis. It was a job for a part time data entry operator. Pretty cool job, but it takes quite a bit of time and some research, so I’m still thinking if it’s the right job for me.
I had lunch with Jon, and then he went over to my place to hang out.
