@ramenbcmber, DON’T GO WANYA! (x)
“Wanya wanya wanya, wanya wanyaaaa!”
Yep, this lil staff member has reverted to using their native tongue. They are frantically tugging onto her leg, as they did not want her to leave the mansion.
The Waddle Dee at the popcorn stand looks over, and then stated in, rather babyish (but comprehendible) speech, “Ah, Miss Min Min, I think they’re scared of you leaving again, wanya.”

He notices that she seems settled in by now, so she probably got here while the rest of them were on the cruise. He feels bad, even though the dates for the cruise were set long before they knew when the new fighter was supposed to arrive, and there really wasn’t anything they could do. But, well, even if she got here a tad early — at least they’re back home now! That means everyone can finally give her a proper welcome. So Lucas is here with a bracelet that he had made out of some smaller shells he found on the shores of Isle Delfino.
❝ You're Min Min, right? Looks like you got settled in while we were gone, sorry 'bout that — but welcome! My name’s Lucas. ❞ He grins as he holds out the little souvenir. ❝ We heard you were comin’ after the mansion vacation, so I went ‘n’ had this made while we were gone. I found all the shells on the beach. ❞
@ramenbcmber opened the present. There was a starter inside!

- { ☾ } - “ Well well, they really did end up bringing more people in, didn’t they? ”
It wasn’t like she tried to be, but Cereza tended to be one of the more elusive fighters in the bunch. She’d much rather meet someone on the battlefield, being of the opinion that it’s the best way to see what someone is truly like. However, the surprise of this new fighter joining at all pushed her to meet her personally.
The witch sized up the other, hands on her hips, giving her a good look up and down. Definitely one of the more interesting humans she’s met, that’s for damn sure. How would she fare out there against her, she wondered.
- { ☾ } - “ Welcome to the party. I do hope you don’t mind the noise luv, some of us do like to play rough. ”
“...Wanya.”
[Something to the lines of “You do realize that you smashers can go out into the town and do stuff, right?”]
“...Wanyaaaa...”
[“The mansion isn’t everything, wanya...”]
“Wanya!”
[“Min Min’s ramen is delicious by the way!” It appears this Waddle Dee has been frequenting the Ramen shop...but take out only. They still have a job.]
“Wanya!!”
The Waddle Dees were putting on the finishing touches for the big Welcome Welcome Welcome party! It was a welcome back party for the vacationing Smashers, and a welcome to Smash party for Min Min!
Various beachy decorations were strewn upon the halls, with lots of stars and paper lanterns! Chilled Ramen, known as Hiyashi, along with Ice Cream was on the menu today! But of course, there was plenty of cakes and snacks for those who aren’t as peckish!
There are two special mini sundaes available. One is chocolate and cherry flavored, and the other is lemon and lime sorbet! The latter even has a special treat called “Dragon’s breath” that lets you breathe smoke if you like! Just be super careful about it!
The mansion wasn’t empty! There seemed to be a youth singing to themself in the kitchen. It wasn’t a loud song, but it was something of a habit.
With the help of round orange creatures, they were giving a kitchen deep clean. This was because most of the fighters had gone on vacation...so it was the optimal time to get things extra sanitized and smooth behind corners and cabinets and machinery.
Maintenance is an important thing for equipment, especially when feeding over 200 characters on a daily basis!
Course...the staff weren’t warned there could be potential visitors...including very important ones.
