My beloved partner has convinced me to play a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon along with her. I've always been against Nuzlockes, I'm very soft-hearted when it comes to my video game critters so thinking about them as "dying" makes me very sad. I have decided instead that my trainer is soft-hearted like me, and he releases his Pokemon after allowing a single faint because he feels he doesn't deserve to train that particular Pokemon if he can't even keep them conscious against some scrub-ass Bug Trainer. We're playing with a randomized ROMhack called Randolocke. So far I have a Snover for my starter, and I caught a Riolu and a Feebas. I'm never this lucky, so I'm dreading the backlash from getting 2 semi-legendaries in a row lmao.
