A tidy, high-end rental house just across the street from Sims University's Campus, for the more fortunate ones. Fancy interior, but the exterior and landscaping make it look way out of place.
I built this house live on the Purple Website back in February 2024 for @celtysims’s Cursed Build Challenge, just now I'm posting it here.
Anyways, this is a 12x56 residential lot, you have to place it using Edit Town mode beside the Modest Manse (Two Couples household) lot located at 1051 University Drive.
Requires all EPs except for Pets and the Master Suite SP. You also need the Add Any Lot Size mod by velocitygrass, due to the weird lot size requested by the challenge.
This is something I’ve been wanting to create for a long time—basically ever since I first encountered @complicite ‘s click-and-drag Sim generator (which is super awesome, btw). I don’t make too many Sims though, so for my fellow builders or folks just looking for a fun challenge, please enjoy my Click-And-Drag Build Blueprints. 🏡💙
You can click and drag each element or grab a screenshot to generate blueprints (haha get it) for a new build. Feel free to use this for inspiration (and re-roll whatever doesn’t fit as needed) or trust your luck and build to fate’s exact specifications. The possibilities are, by design, fairly endless!
Some insight into how to approach each element:
LOT TYPE: I’ve rigged this element to be predisposed to Residential lots but odds are still good that you’ll roll a specific Commercial lot type.
LOT SIZE: If you roll a lot size that isn’t available in the world you get, select the next closest (e.g. 40x20→40x30) or re-roll.
WORLD: Fairly self-explanatory. Re-roll if you don’t own the corresponding pack.
ARCHITECTURAL STYLE: I tried to include a broad selection, but the options definitely skew American residential. Sorry, my Midwest is showing. If you don’t know what something is, Google is your friend!
DECOR STYLE: Again, tried to cover all the standards. Feel free to interpret as you see fit!
COLOR SCHEME: Self-explanatory and again up to interpretation. Use the context of the other elements as your guide.
BEDROOMS / BATHROOMS: If you’re building a community lot, feel free to ignore or add an apartment with these specifications for the business owner.
SKILL BUILDING: The Sim who lives in this home / Sims who patronize this commercial lot are really into this hobby. You can fold this into the function of the lot (e.g. a Retail lot that sells Guitars), use it as a theme while decorating, or just squeeze in the item or two needed to develop that skill.
UNIQUE FEATURE: What’s going to set your listing apart when you go to sell this home—for better or for worse? Please don’t let it be haunted.

Lime Green Nautical Mansion of a Lesbian Couple - Sims Build Generator
Couldn’t keep it lime green throughout. But I do like how it turned out! I made an older couple for this who care for their granddaughter while her parents are saving the world. It’s on the 20x20 lot on the little Windenburg Island.
