Not to be sad on main but what do you think would be the last words of Val to Mitch and Rosalind if she ever was to ...you know...

Hi @heywoodvirgin! Thanks for joining me for the sleepover! And thank you, I loooove this question! I'm a big fan of angst and grief, so this is a fun one!

For Val and Rosalind, if she dies before Rosalind does, it will probably be in service for her, either saving her life or going off on a suicide mission or something of that nature, and she would very likely try to reassure her—don't worry, you'll be okay; I'll do what has to be done—something of that nature.

For Val and Mitch, ooooohhhh that's really tough! She's still dying per Alt's vague six months timeline, so that's always on her mind. I think she'd still try to be reassuring, especially given how sensitive she is over being the cause of Driss's death, and now here she is dying too. "You'll be okay, you've got Pan and Carol and Cassidy."

The latest SK AU I've been working on involves the Don't Fear the Reaper ending, and Val calls Mitch from the roof. He drives out to see her and tells her that he loves her; she might be shocked enough to say it back, since she's been starting to wonder if it's true. At the very minimum, she'd tell him how much he meant to her, and thank him for his company and not asking questions.

As for Corpo!Val, I think if she's dying before him, it means she fucked something up lmao. She completes the Sun ending and takes over the Afterlife, and I set their story after whatever hand-wavy thing happens after V pulls off the next impossible heist. But let's say she is dying before him, whatever the cause. I think she'd apologize to him for taking him away from his Nomad lifestyle. He wouldn't hear of it because it would have been a choice freely made, but she would still hold some guilt that maybe he would have been happier still on the road with Panam, Carol, and Cassidy. (Oh right, and the others who are still alive because she didn't get them killed!)

Headcanon - Mard has a thing for messing up Natsu’s hair because of it’s unusual colour and often pulls Natsu into his lap where Natsu just kind of… melts, against him???

Jackal x Lucy - Now this one I blame papalogia for making me ship it T-T

Headcanon - Whenever somebody goes to hurt Lucy, Jackal steps in between them so whoever was attacking her touches him instead, then he steps back and watches them explode with the blankest look on his face before going to help Lucy.

Lucy x Yukino - I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP!!!!!

Headcanon - They both have the bad luck of getting caught in the rain so when that happens, they run to each other’s houses to dry offa dnc uddle in front of the fire to warm up. (So if Lucy was caught in the rain, she’ll run to Yukino and vice versa, if they both get caught in the rain then they go to the closest place.)

Orga x Hisui - I haven’t considered this before?? I kinda like it???

Headcanon - Hisui spends hours trying to comb Orga’s hair (I have a headcanon she’s kind of a neat freak) but she never manages it, she still tries anyway because it lets her spend time with him and she thinks he’s pretty funny (though she isn’t a fan of his singing).

Kama x Pantherlily - Fight buddies I could see, but not as a ship.

Headcanon - They go out for drinks and to spar once in a while (idk, I’m stumped)

Ikaruga x Kagura - …While I am more inclined to ship Ikaruga with Erza, I like this one.

Headcanon - They copy each other’s techniques and develop new ways of fighting by playing off each other’s moves. Kagura bats Ikaruga over the head with her sheathed Archenemy whenever Ikaruga gets too sadistic and creepy about something.

Lyon x Sherry - I do prefer Ren x Sherry, but this is cute~!!

Headcanon - Lyon knew about Sherry’s crush on him, but was always too flustered to tell her he liked her too when he tried bringing it up, she always thought he was sick and sent him to the doctor (though she took the chance to hold his hand and stay close which just made him more embarrassed).

Chelia x Meredy - Hmm, I guess it could be cute, but I don’t ship it myself.

Headcanon - Meredy is teaching Chelia how to successfully prank someone and get away with it easily; Lamia Scale members are all very afraid.

Brain x Zero - …That seems kinda like self-cest, and it reminds me of Ichigo x Zangetsu/Hollow Ichigo from Bleach (which I never really liked so…)

Headcanon - Zero is the one who convinced Brain to be as evil as he was. (This is the lamest of lame, I’m sorry)

Juvia x Meredy - I find this really adorable! Though I do switch between shipping it and just loving the friendship.

Headcanon - Juvia takes Meredy out on shopping trips every time they see each other (and they can go on shopping sprees) because Meredy has the cutest smile and Juvia loves seeing it.

Zancrow x Chelia - I am sort of iffy on it as a ship… but I like to think Zancrow could be like Chelia’s demented uncle or something? (Like the Dragon Slayers, the God Slayers have a family-ish bond too? Ignore me)

Headcanon - Zancrow sends Chelia’s the ribbons for her hair and cheers for her from afar, though always scowls that Wendy tends to get the spotlight alongside Chelia.

Makarov x Bob - …Please don’t make me think about this, I think the only ship I have for that whole generation is Makarov x Porlyusica.

Headcanon - Whenever they get together, they always spend some time at the bar just the two of them because they were closer friends than anyone really knew.

Racer x Nobarly - Considering I had to google who Nobarly was, I don’t think so?? And I can’t find what magic Nobarly uses *sweatdrops*

Headcanon - Racer runs circles around him and always goads Nobarly about being called Quattro Puppy, Nobarly always tries to punch Racer and ends up on the ground. Racer laughs.

Kinana x Laki - Aww I love this ship, it’s so sweet.

Headcanon - Laki stayed with Kinana when she was having headaches (hearing voices in her head) and held her until she got to sleep safely (and then Laki stayed in the same bed in case Kinana needed something during the night, though Kinana never did because she felt safer with Laki there).

Lisanna x Angel - …I hadn’t thought about this before but I ship it.

Headcanon - Angel mistakes Lisanna for Yukino at first (didn’t see her face) and runs up to her, putting her hand on Lisanna’s shoulder, though takes it off when Lisanna turns around out of shock because ‘oh no she’s so cute’.

Mirajane x Jellal - I have loves this for a year, ftlists requests make me ship the weirdest things *sobs*

Headcanon - Jellal has Sorcerer Weekly photos of her because he got a crush on her at the GMG and he spends most of his time about worrying how to hide them from his guildmates (Cobra was payed off not to say a word).

Freed x Laxus - *chants* Otp OTp OTP (well… one of them)

Headcanon - Freed gets tired very easily on some days, so Laxus takes off his coat and wraps it around Freed to keep him warm.

Gildarts x Bluenote - You are defintiely the devil, what did you just make me think about?!

Headcanon - They usually find each other when they’re drunk and collapse on each other, when they wake up, they agree to wait out their hangovers until they try to beat the crap out of each other.

Hibiki x Lucy - *screams* I love these two so much where do I start? Oh, how about here:

Headcanon - Hibiki treats Lucy like a princess, he buys her flowers and does everything humanly possible to sweep her off her feet (he took tips from Loke because they get on pretty well).

Aries x Virgo - I normally think about the ‘Celestial Spirit family thing’ first, but I do like this^^

Headcanon - Aries usually conjures up a lot of wool for them both to snuggle in.

Azuma x Ultear - Now I know we didn’t see much of them, but I ship this pretty hard.

Headcanon - Whenever they were sent on jobs together, Azuma controlled the magic in the ground to give her a small boost so she’d definitely stay safe (but it was also an unrequited love situation, poor guy).

Erza x Minerva - asdfghjkl YES! Though it is also my Brotp, I like the ‘sisters’ aspect slightly more.

Headcanon - After the GMG, Minerva dreamed about Erza a lot, but because during the GMG, Erza had beaten her, Minerva mistook all those confusing feelings as hate, when it was really a crush.

Rogue x Franmalth - ...Please tell me I read that wrong? No? ...Ew.

Headcanon - Uh, I’m blank, Rogue ends up kicking Franmalth in the head a lot because Franmalth is always trying to do creepy things?

Anna x Acnologia - I actually don’t really like this ship, I’d probably like it a little bit more if there was any evidence they knew each other?

Headcanon - They were childhood friends and the only reason Anna agreed to help Zeref with Eclipse is because Acnologia betrayed her and she believes in the long run, the project will ‘save’ him and give her her old friend back.

Weisslogia x Grandeeney - Ah I never really think about dragon ships either, though I can see these two as friends, constantly worrying over Sting and Wendy?

Headcanon - Every time dragons get together (bear with me and let’s say it happened before they died), they always sneak off for a little while to act like young dragons again and just play. Igneel catches them at it, he does not approve of the childish behaviour. 

Mystogan x Edo!Lucy - Hmm, I could probably see it? I do actually ship this (though I don’t ship the Earthland counterparts).

Headcanon - The first time Mystogan saw Lucy Ashley, his jaw dropped and he thought she looked really cute with short hair, he invited all of Edo!Fairy Tail to dinner (A to say sorry, and B to try and talk to Lucy).

Evergreen x Rustyrose - I am forever going to be a hardcore ElfEver fan, but I like this one a lot *hides*

Headcanon - Rustyrose ended up thinking Ever was really cute so he whipped up a romantic dinner setting with his magic and started treating her like a princess (it was off-screen during their fight, Elfman and Evergreen were both very confused).

Ur x Silver - I SHIP IT!!

Headcanon - (AU) They’re both really affectionate towards each other when they know Gray is nearby, because they know it weirds him out seeing his Dad and his teacher kissing right in front of him (though he is happy they’re both happy).

Deliora x Lullaby - ...What did you just make me think about? Uh, I guess no?

Headcanon - They found each other in the ‘demon afterlife’ and constantly rant about how pissed they are that they were killed by puny human wizards.

Jiemma x Oba - Gonna have to say no thanks on account of me hating Jiemma’s guts.

Headcanon - In the Makarov and Gildarts Generation story we talked about in our messages, Jiemma always had a small crush on her because she was pretty, but seeing as he’s a total asshole, he expressed it by being a complete douche bag.

Geoffrey x Warren - Hmm, I probably wouldn’t ship it or Brotp it, but I could think about it?

Headcanon - After Warrod trapped Geoffrey in that cage for Mavis’ plan, Geoffrey’s been fixated on Warrod and is desperate to kill him more than anyone.

Mard x Cosmos - ...I ship it.

Headcanon - They do each others hair frequently, to keep each other looking fabulous (I was admittedly stuck on this one).

Sayla x Lisanna - *Has lowkey shipped this for a year*

Headcanon - Lisanna takes Sayla to libraries a lot, Sayla has usually already read most of the books there, but they go to a new library each time and Sayla has actually always read every book there but Lisanna always keeps the cutest smile on her face so Sayla says nothing as she observes how adorable her human girlfriend is.

Bickslow x Meredy - I wouldn’t say I ship it, but I could Brotp it very easily.

Headcanon - They both scheme together to prank the members of their guilds (with the exception of Cobra who hears everything, but they promised to leave him alone so long as he never tells anyone what they’re up to (hint: he doesn’t)) and they usually have to run away together for an hour or two because their pranks are the best and everyone hates them for it.

Natsu x Kagura - *grabby hands* Gimme!

Headcanon - They spar regularly, talk about Erza and actually joke around; Kagura smiles around him a lot f i g h t m e. She’s teaching Natsu to wield a sword properly and while he’s pretty bad at it, it makes for a good memory.

Erza x Juvia - I switch between shipping this harder than everything and liking the Brotp very easily with these two.

Headcanon - Erza takes Juvia swimming as often as she can and Juvia takes Erza to deeper parts of the ocean to see the life down there. (She tends to bring her down that deep by holding her hand as they swim down)

Max x Sol - I probably wouldn’t ever ship this because I kinda hate Sol and really like Max, but who knows? I’m trash ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Headcanon - Max found Sol while he was drinking in a random bar while on a job, they meet up often and try trading techniques, though they have a constant grudge between each other because of the old Phantoms vs Fairies thing.

Totomaru x Juvia - Lowkey OTP! I love these two!

Headcanon - Everyone at the guild always referred to their relationship as ‘steamy’ because of the fire and water aspect and Totomaru always used that to make Juvia blush so much she actually started turning to steam.

Bacchus x Kagura - Meh, haven’t thought about it much purely out of a personal dislike for Bacchus’ character.

Headcanon - They spar often. He gets to practice his fighting technique against hardened steel like her sword and adapt to her strategy and she gets to analyze him in a similar way, they go out to eat afterwards (though Bacchus mostly drinks).

Bluenote x Orga - I... haven’t ever thought about this, but I guess they could hang out and get drinks?

Headcanon - All I can really think of is them going to get drinks together, maybe rant about some stuff that’s bothering them that they can’t vent about elsewhere because their magic gets out of control and they risk hurting people.

Natsu x Meredy - I started liking this after getting a few requests at ftlists, now I ship it pretty hard and it’s p a i n.

Headcanon - Meredy pulls light pranks on him all the time, like if he nods off for a while, he’ll wake up with something drawn on his face and while he’d get annoyed at anyone else, he thinks the giggle she does ,when he finds out he’s been pranked again, is really cute.

Ivan x Kamika - I never think about Ivan because it puts me in a sour mood, so I haven’t ever considered this, I’m not sure I like it...???? I am confused.

Headcanon - He’s a total jerk that she isn’t too willing to put up with, so as a result she slaps him a lot. He doesn’t mind it too much.

Pantherlily x Happy - I legitimately never think about Exceed ships at all, I guess I like this as a Brotp?? (I think the only Exceed ship I like is Happy and Carla)

Headcanon - Lily helps Happy catch fish and gives advice for getting closer to Carla and Lily is basically a big brother to Happy. (I don’t know, I’m sorry)

Millianna x Ichiya - *sour face* I am positive you’re evil and out to get me. I think Millianna would probably feel creeped out by him so I’m not sure I’d ever ship this (or Ichiya with anyone tbh).

Headcanon - He thinks she smells nice, so naturally she has to pull an Erza and spend the majority of her time with him, trying to get away.

Gray x Kageyama (I thought about the Kageyama from Haikyuu!! first, ha ha I’m trash) - Hmm, I did think about it during the Lullaby Arc after what Gray said seemed to get to Kageyama, but I don’t know if I ship it or not seeing as Kageyama never appeared again...

Headcanon - What Gray said to Kageyama still gets to him and he tosses and turns in bed at night trying to deal with all these confusing thoughts in his head.

Zero x Zeira - ...This came out of nowhere and I am very confused. I guess I’d have to say no. (I have a dislike for ships with large age gaps as it is so...)

Headcanon - Zero used Brain’s archive to research Fairy Tail and saw Zeira’s name come up once or twice (a quote from one of the founders I guess?) and seeing as he never found out who exactly Zeira was, it’s been bugging him and he’s desperate to know who the hell she was. But f course he’ll never know~

Romeo x Chelia - I have absolutely nothing against it and I think it’d be cute, but I don’t ship it myself.

Headcanon - Chelia drags Romeo into playing ‘house’ frequently and they both baby Wendy like she’s their daughter or precious little sister.

Dimaria x Natsu - I blame you for me shipping this (and Natsu x Brandish) *glare*

Headcanon - (Usually you come up with this stuff, I’m stuck) Um, I think if Dimaria saw him on the battlefield, she’d pull her ‘freeze time’ trick and watch him for a bit before deciding she shouldn’t hurt him (because reasons) and watches him a lot when he’s still frozen.

Bradman x Erigor - I can’t say I’ve ever thought about this because I still get confused on who all the Spriggans are, unless I’ve seen them enough like Dimaria or Invel I don’t really remember them *sweatdrops*

Headcanon - I’m gonna pull another drinking buddies thing here purely because I know nothing about Bradman yet. Sorry!

Jellal x Angel - BURY ME WITH THIS SHIP! I LOVE IT! (Though it takes second place to Cobra x Angel)

Headcanon - Angel tries flirting with him all the time and really wants to see Jellal blush but he keeps himself composed for about two seconds until after she leaves and turns into a blushing mess (and then Cobra teases him about it).

Hades x Yuriy - I guess this would be back when Hades still went by Precht huh? I’m not sure I ship it, but I like the Brotp-ness between them.

Headcanon - They took turns doing something for each other, one day Precht would take Yuriy out to lunch or something and the next time they did something together, Yuriy would take Precht to get a book or an artifact or something (usually stolen because old habits die hard, but oh well).

Sting x Minerva - Personally it’s my Brotp, but I think it’s adorable and I definitely could like it as a ship (if I wasn’t stingue trash T-T)

Headcanon - Sting sometimes takes on extra jobs to buy Minerva extra things like dresses or jewelry to let her know how much he loves her (because he’s absolutely terrible at trying to say ‘I love you’ himself) and to reassure her that everyone in Sabertooth cares about her and wants her to stay with them. (But mostly the I love you’ thing)

Laxus x Wendy - Brotp definitely, I couldn’t ship it because Wendy’s so young and it’d feel weird, but I love the idea of a big brother/little sister relationship.

Headcanon - Laxus will never admit it, but he takes Wendy out for ice cream when she wants something sweet and cuddles her once in a while when she’s upset. He becomes the big brother she lost when Mystogan separated from her.

Zancrow x Flare - ...I ship it.

Headcanon - Zancrow likes pulling on her hair, she starts burning him with it at that point (it has little effect but it gets him to stop for a while).
