The next chapter was fighting me so I skipped it and worked ahead on the chapter after that one and then I got sidetracked writing a different thing and then I was going to come back to it but the last couple of weeks were ass so I mostly just wrote fluff to make myself feel better instead

I stayed up too late last night so, when my alarm clock went off, I was out of it, and there was a cat pawing at my face which I thought was Murdy (despite the fact that George paws at my face every morning without fail because he wants kisses, not sure how I managed to forget that) and I went "Hi Murdy" and tried to hug and smoosh him as if he was Murdy

This caused two things to happen:

1. George was very wiggly and confused why I was hugging and smooshing him when he doesn't like that and just wants his morning smoochies

2. Murdy, seeing his brother called Murdy and receiving hugs and smooshes, wailed at the top of his lungs, scared the sleep out of me because melodramatic tortured animal noises, then attacked me when I tried to apologize
