his line while talking with panda: “is a boy” was changed to “was a boy” insinuating some transition though Panda still just says that she’s a boy (its okay panda I still love you)

Kirara is so silly, im so happy with how they animated her fight, it was awesome (they even got megumi to look cool somehow)

Also Kirara throwing coins like she’s playing ultrakill was not on my jjk bingo board

Im suc a big fan of her technique, its so cool, anyway now for silly kirara pictures!!

LUCY STRIVE TRAILER, ITS INCREDIBLE

She looks awesomeeee, and so well animated!! Quickhacks are gonna be so funny, sorry for being vague, watch the trailer you won’t regret it

The interesting thing about Lucy in Strive is that by the end of the show, she has very little to strive for that we know of (obviously left up to interpretation), but at the same time I don’t know if she would really like to return the Night City, like yeah the Guilty Gear world can get a bit silly but its probably better than the prison over in Cyberpunk, so in the Lucy panel when they talked about whether or not she would get a happy ending for her arcade mode, in the end she was always going to have to return to Night City, the city of dreams one can never really accomplish without likely dying, but maybe she will gain something to strive for, there are countless characters in Guilty Gear that can approach the void Lucy was left with from a multitude of angles, from Testament finding the joy in the little things, to Bridget, to even maybe Unika or any of the Valentines, hell I can even see Milia potentially giving some advice as an ex-assassin who has a complicated past with love. Needless to say I am super excited for Lucy to join Guilty Gear, I really enjoyed Edgerunners and I need more content to cry about…

FINAL EPISODE JUST WATCHED IT, SIN SAYS SHIT?? (Might just be a sub thing idk) I LOVE SIBLINGS LETS GOOO (the name Dual Rulers makes so much sense now), also love how ky and dizzy are just completely in tune lmao, perfect couple (dont talk about the ages…), ALSO EXCUSE ME YOU CANNOT JUST SHOW A FRAME OF ASUKA, ANJI, MAY?! Special touch that Sol’s magic was a different color, just some food for thought :3. Awesome art from the animators btw, they cooked, this episode especially. Also love how the final answer is literally just gun (special bullet i know but like damn dont have to be so realistic), shoutout to dizzy and ky, parents of the year, they deserve to get married. ALSO CRAZY HOW ONLY NOW ITS LIKE OUT TO EVERYONE THAT DIZZY IS SOL’S DAUGHTER (shoutout to that one Xrd scene where Ky realizes, funniest scene). ALSO RANDOM 3RD KING APPEARANCE LMAO. Sol is the best, grandpa finally showed up. THEYRE ALL SO HAPPY OMG I LOVE GUILTY GEAR AHHH, poor Unika with guilt though (thanks Baiken). I LOVE THE SIBLINGSS RAHHH (sibling trauma </3). LETS GO UNIKA GO FIND YOUR SHAPEEE. Awww theyre such good siblings, promising to beat each other next time is the fighting game way. What a great series in my opinion, it innovated in so many ways while being approachable for someone maybe not so interested in the lore (though idk cause I do know the lore a lot but I think it explained things well), and like it truly was a creative project and a good way to introduce a character for them to develop in Strive, was it perfect? Nah, was it cheap in some parts? Maybe, but I dont think it was bad, in fact, I quite enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!! It has made me really excited for Unika in Strive and how she has grown! (And whatever the hell her 100% tension super allegedly was???) so good job Arcsys and the studio that made this, though I have one gripe with it (jokingly)

WHERE IS MY UNIKA AND BRIDGET REUNION, LET THEM KISS YOUR HONOR PLEASE, IT WOULD BE SO SWEET, YOU COULD DEVELOP THEIR RELATIONSHIP FOR STRIVE AT LEAST, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET YURI BE REAL, GIVE UNIKA A HAPPY PARTNER ARCSYS PLEASEEEE

On a serious note, I cannot wait for Unika to join the cast, and I think I’ll miss this series tbh, well lets go see what the future holds shall we!

GUYS UNIKA’S THEME RELEASED ON SPOTIFY AND ITS PEAK, THE MUSICAL MOTIFS IN THE GUILTY GEAR THEME SPECIAL PART (tm) LEGIT MADE ME TEAR UP AND THIS JUST MAKES ME MORE EXCITED FOR THE ANIME AND UNIKA TO GET IN THE GODDAMN GAME (legally).

Whether you give it a listen or not is up to you, but in my opinion it is easily top 3

Also of course NAOKI did an amazing job at singing, and not releasing the lyrics… (as of writing this)
