Random TVD thoughts 1/?
I think the way Stefan tried to talk Damon out of turning human for Elena in 6x21 says way more about Stefan and who he is as a person (though I feel like the writers themselves never quite figured it out) than about Damon and possible difficulties he might encounter.
I mean, what was that about “you don’t cook, Elena doesn’t cook”? Or that story about them having no money?
It feels like such a Stefan thing to come up with a weird random problem where there really isn’t one. First, Damon cooks, and we’ve seen it (but okay, maybe Stefan isn’t aware of that). Second, really, in the age of supermarkets and restaurant delivery and like two million eating options in any random neighborhood, he thinks they would fight over COOKING??? Third, does he really think that Damon would not like come up with a sustainable financial plan before turning human?
That whole exchange makes my brain hurt.
