Sometimes I find myself wondering what my students might think of my writing if they ever stumbled across it, and didn’t know it was me. I really want them to like it, but also: how horrified would they be to find out that their teacher writes smut?! 🙈

I love writing sooo much because I have this story of two characters who were enemies at first and then they both start to change for the better and then they agree to give being friends a shot instead of constantly arguing with each other…

And then they slowly fall in love with each other…

Context: I had taken a 5 month break from updating my WIP story and yesterday I finally found the inspiration to post again. In the morning I woke up half an hour before my alarm went off and as I looked at my phone I saw that I had some AO3 emails telling me that some of my gorgeous lovely readers had left me pretty words to start my day with a 🤩

Half asleep brain reaction: conjured imagine of me as a sort of resurrected Voldemort-like figure touching my Lexa tattoo on my forearm to call my faithful readers to my side 😅

You know, usually my favorite part of writing suggestive things is coming up with alternative and elegant ways of saying filthy things.

There’s just no sexy way to describe a tongue, besides calling it a tongue. Balls are another one. They’re just too goofy to me to find a way to describe them all sexily.

Any other writers got that thing that you just can’t figure out any alternative words or phrases for?

The downside to reading my own stories is that I have full access to the "edit" button and sometimes I spend more time correcting typos or reworking a sentence than just - reading for enjoyment.
