wyrdwood wips from last year
Join us tomorrow on the Oxventure channel for a hilarious one-shot of the Ultimate Sci-Fi TTRPG – Traveller! 🚀 This incredible new video is brought to you by Mongoose Publishing!
Tune in and check it out TOMORROW!
Made a post for Johnny so I think I make this one about Mike. To paraphrase a quote from Ellen "My favorite Mike is the Carly Rae Jepsen fan".
Lug
It's been a wee while, but ahead of the @oxventure Wyrdwood livestream I wanted to finish a painting of Lug I've had on the boil for bloody ages. So this is what I sent in, along with an updated version of my Corazon painting which is **gasp** 3 years old now.
I just upgraded my iPad to a Pro (refurb!) and got a nice set of oil brushes from MaxPacks to coax me into practising more.
Will it work? Or will I end up just watching YouTube and doomscrolling on a slightly bigger screen? Who's to say...
is this anything?
meets someone that likes garfield > send them garfield.wmv > gets new person into oxboxtra
I may be a bit too deep into Oxboxtra lore. Andy joked about using a medical cadaver in his horrible sentient vending machine in the latest Extra Helpings, and my first thought was, "That would be a perfect use for that skeleton his dad keeps trying to talk him into taking!"
In your shadow
I keep thinking about Robin and Morven.
Someone mentioned a similarity to Zac's character from Dimension20. But the 'parasitic' character Zac played most of the time had been the fun, almost charming one, and the host body was originally a horrid person.
Robin is sweet, well-intentioned, and frightened. As he should be, the woman in his body wants it all to herself and doesn't care about risking its wellbeing in the process.
But, just like Andy's other female antagonist, Victoria (who I still think about daily), who can fault Morven? A woman killed by zealots for practising magic in a world that has literally fallen apart without it. Somehow finding herself still alive, albeit in a body not her own and with only minor say in its movements. Who could fault her for wanting freedom, by whatever the means?
