-I'm playing Final Fantasy 1, Pokemon Blue, Slay the Spire, and Link to the Past. -But! It's a multiworld randomizer! I'll find items in one game that'll help me progress in another, and have to keep jumping back and forth! (most of the games will be made shorter and/or easier, I want it to be challenging but possible, y'know?) -I intend to go 18 hours! That's a horrible idea but we're gonna try! The stream that got me into indy vtubers was an 18hr debut so daggumit that's what I wanna do. -I'm raising money for Transgender Law Center as well! If you get it to $100 I'll play Celeste later, and there are individual rewards as well. -I also have a bunch of incentives/punishments/bits set up, hopefully on a wheel! I'll have to spin it once per game I fail to finish, plus probably more spins for X followers and maybe Y subs. (don't give me bits, donate to TLC instead >_>) -Gif is by Rhodo

All of these will be set up in such a way that I have a decent shot in beating them in four hours, so expect short and/or easy versions of most options. The randothon will be all day on July 1 and feature four games of the peoples' choice! It's a multiworld, so I'll find stuff in one game that'll help me to progress in another. Friends hmu if you want to play or commentate.

Randothon update!

Short version: Per yesterday's warmup stream, I think I bit off more than I can (currently) chew with this idea. I hate doing this and am sorry, but I think I'm going to throw out the polls and just pick the four games I know best. (Pokemon Blue, Slay the Spire, FF 1, Link to the Past) .....If you've seen my vanilla LttP streams you'll know this still isn't gonna be a cakewalk, lol.

Long version: I spent most of yesterday's OoT randomizer stream stuck, both from lack of skill and lack of knowledge. (I hinted things after the stream and I STILL can't figure out what the logic wanted me to do, all the wallets and bomb bags and ocarinas were all gated behind each other) I was hoping to make up for my lack of skill with easy settings, but turns out that only gets you so far when you don't have other players to carry you! It was supposed to be kinda a proof of concept to make sure it was a good idea, and....it just wasn't, it turns out. It wasn't super fun for me, I don't imagine it was super fun for anybody who might've shown up, I was nowhere near the goal in the target time, and I don't wanna risk my big event stream just being....that times four, y'know? Plus you've got stuff like SA2:B that whoops, turns out I can't actually run.

I might make this an annual event and try to come back next year with a better idea what I'm doing, but I think for this year it's ambitious enough just trying to do an 18-hour 4-game stream. Bugs me to heck going back on what I've announced and what my original vision was, but I think it's for the best? Thank you for those of you that have voted in the polls, and I am very sorry for discarding them, but I hope you'll still enjoy the final product.

I am officially GIVING UP on this year's randothon! I looked at the spoiler file and if I'm reading it correctly (big if), where I went wrong was missing Bonk Rock Cave (it had the Hammer) and Paradox Cave (it had Surf). My guess was gonna be that it was a missed check somewhere in LttP :\ Anyway I'm bummed that I couldn't pull it off, but I had a lot of fun trying! We'll do that again next year I think, and maybe I'll be a bit more up to the challenge.

The Randothon is back for potentially the last time! We're gonna check Marsh Cave in FF1, and call an audible after that. Maybe we'll get something good and be able to start making progress again, maybe I'll check Oak Aides in Pokemon, or maybe we'll take the L and go to Izakaya or something, we'll see!
