Update on this post…

I have gotten to chapter 4 and have 1k words written so far in that chapter, which I will be writing more today. So far, the average word count is 4.8k words per chapter.

I planned a few future events that I will work into the story, which should be easy, and I’m feeling like I may actually get farther than I thought I would. Honestly, I’m surprised I got to 4 chapters already, as I typically loose interest so quickly.

Anyways, I’m debating on if I should start posting each chapter at some point. I have a feeling not much, or if any, people would be interested in reading a Caesar (Planet of The Apes trilogy) x Reader, but thought I’d mention it and let y’all decide.

Is there anyone out there who likes Caesar? No? Just me? I’m not normal?

Oh, and have a sketch I did of if my monkey oc, Ravi, was in the Planet of The Apes universe 😌 And yes, he is indeed in my story because I love him and needed to include him 😤… I need to finish the drawing of him-

Thought I should mention that I was thinking of posting a chapter every 2 weeks on Saturday, as I want to give myself enough time to write more chapters before posting, so there’s a “reserve” of sorts. But, if you’d prefer I post every week, just let me know.

Tho be aware that posting that often most likely will get to a point where y’all will catch up to the chapter I am working on, so after that, the posting schedule would be random. If that makes sense 💀 Bro I’m too tired to process, out of town right now for my cousin’s wedding, and am about to pass out, so sorry if what I just said made no sense XD

But yeah, let me know if you’d rather wait the 2 weeks or just 1… And I’ll try to remember to post on time PFFT

The voices are telling me to write a fanfic about my latest obsession…

They won.

I’ve already created the draft of the first chapter and am currently writing the second, and I only started today.

I’m having so much fun, even though I have a very vague idea with where I’m going with it. Just writing for the vibes >:D

I have a feeling it will be dropped, like every other story I’ve tried writing, but dangit I’m gonna write as much as I can and have fun with it before I burn out and/or lose interest 😤

I’m hoping to get farther into the second chapter before I head to bed, preferably 2k words, but wouldn’t be the end of the world if I don’t get that far. I have tomorrow to write as well >:)

Anyways, don’t mind me just randomly popping in and posting something without art.

When you have monke constantly on the brain, and you just want to watch as much content about him as possible, but there isn’t as much content about him as you want, and you want to talk to someone about him or your own silly monke character to develop him more and gush about him, but you have no one to talk to about them, or you don’t want to bother your friends too much, so you just sit there, screaming in your head.

Y’all have no idea how much Wukong is just ingrained in my head right now, how much Ravi is ingrained in my head. I’ve literally watched “The Monkey King” (on Netflix) five times in like— 2 months-- I want to watch more content about Wukong, talk about him and Ravi, draw them, and maybe even write about them, but it’s so overwhelming I just sit there and silently freak out on the inside 💀 It doesn’t help that art motivation has kinda plummeted a bit cuz of work, so I haven’t been drawing Ravi as much as I want to and haven’t even been able to draw Wukong yet— 🫠 I need to draw the monke himself—

Anyways— little rant aside (sorry not sorry but I just had to express what I’m feeling somewhere)— Have a little doodle of Ravi I did real quick :D My man’s feeling what I’m feeling rn pfft
