I was just reading this article and... man, just read this:
"For decades, Cary Grant sculpted the image of a Hollywood leading man with performances that both subverted gender roles and winked at the rumors surrounding him. Today, there’s still little acceptance of the possibility that his stardom—and, in turn, our collective understanding of stardom—was shaped by queerness. Consider the continued, utter absence of LGBTQ+ male A-listers a century later. Consider that only one openly gay man has ever been nominated for a best actor Oscar. Consider that, just as it would have for Grant and Scott, a public figure coming out today would see their image changed instantly—and permanently."
I think this article is really going to change how I examine everything from now on. Generally but specifically w H+L. Because yes, sometimes it is that obvious, and yes, most people don't see what is so obviously right in-front of them. At the end of the day it will always feel more comfortable to be sold a narrative than to try pick out any semblance of truth or honesty from the entertainment industry.
I have so many thoughts that this brought up!! Larry shit but also about Harry styles(tm). But I have to sleep now and tumblr already deleted my text once so🤦♀️ Full article below!!
Hedda Hopper once asked of Grant, “Whom does he think he is fooling?” The star’s bond with Scott has been the subject of nearly a century of
"Are you familiar with it" Luke asked.
"Me no. I do know of several who have been affected by it." Randy rubbed a hand across his chin. "My dad will be able to put you contact with them."
"Great Easton enthused. The looks that his dad and Luke exchanged were anything but enthusiastic.
"Do you think your contacts will be able to give me access to the vault of antiquity" he asked "there's information I need to find there."
"If it's about the darkness I'm sure they will" he said. "Dad's adopted parent is Moonlight Falls Ruler. I'm sure he'll let you. It's his family that's been plagued the most by the darkness."
Today’s Discovery: the 3DO version of DOOM had a full-fledged metal soundtrack.

"I know dad" Squeezing him tight. Stepping back he continued "I don't want any hard feelings between us. I want you to be a part of my life." Glancing towards Luke with an uncomplicated grin "and our future family."
Taking Easton's hand Luke asked "I hope that's not your way of telling me your pregnant."
Easton stared at him blankly for a moment before shaking his head. "No that's the last thing we need right now."
"If you were it'd totally be okay" he said.
"I know. That's what I love about you" Easton leaned into him "We have to find out about the darkness and what it wants first."
"The darkness" Randy asked looking between the two.
"Daddy" she ran towards the man leaning casually against the railing. She could tell by the way his eyes skipped from object to object that he was uncomfortable. "I'm so glad your here" she cried throwing her arms around him and kissing his cheek.
"Oof" he said as the air exploded from his lungs. "My beautiful daughter" he gently touched her cheek almost like he were in awe of her.
"Daddy don't cry" she reached up tenderly drying the tears sliding down his cheeks.
"I can't help it" he tried to smile "my little girl is getting married."
"Not so little anymore" she said.
"No you're not" he took a deep breath. "Are you sure about this?"
"Marco is a wonderful man" she said but the slight shake of his informed her that's not what he was referring to. "What's wrong?"
