i have a friend trying to teach me arabic, do u have any advice?

try to spend time watching arabic tv/ arabic videos as a supplement, it’ll immerse you into your desired dialects/culture much faster. take notes of words/sounds you know vs ones you don’t, then ask your friend for clarification. it’s a hard language but don’t b discouraged!
