Unfortunately, I... can't eat food anymore. It's just not something I have the ability to do now that I'm a ghost. I'm sure that my Pokémon will appreciate them, though!! I mean, if they're Pokémon safe, that is. I hope that's not rude of me.

That said... "Cran" is kind of an odd name for a berry, isn't it? I'm used to berries having descriptive names, like ice berries treating burns, or burnt berries helping with frostbite. Does "Cran" describe something like that in your region's native language?

Oh, all sorts of rumors. The most outlandish was, I believe sometime around my initial assignment to Paldea, rumors that I was not entirely human. I take it as a compliment to my efficiency.

I like bitter foods a lot! Nanab bread, Yago fruit, curry with rawst or aguav berries. Though if I had to pick a favorite it would be malasadas- blame the Alolan side of the family for that one.

If I am given a hoodie and the hood strings have aglets those aglets will not survive. Also, in a context between my teeth and the ends of writing utensils, my teeth win, though not in the long term. Send prayers to my poor dentist who has to deal with "teeth grinding".

OHHH THANKS I AM GOING TO EAT THE HELL OUT OF THESE

...Apologies for Owen's excited language. The life of a travelling trainer is particularly challenging for Owen when it comes to food. He can never seem to carry enough with him for himself and his Pokemon. So he makes sure to feed his Pokemon well. This means he does not usually get to eat until he is full. Owen has said that he "eats like a Munchlax". I assume the meaning of this is that he can eat a lot before he ever gets full. He requires a lot more food than he normally ingests. Food is extremely exciting for him. The only times he eats enough to fill him are when we are in cities or towns.

I shall thank you in place of Owen since he cannot seem to express his gratitude in a polite manner without resorting to improper language. A Pokedex without a trainer isn't much use to anyone. So thank you for helping to feed my useless trainer who will not do it himself.

Why thank you! It's always nice to connect with a fellow ranger, and to learn about a regional culture I'm unfamiliar with. I really like bitter foods, so the tartness of the berries will only be a plus!

I'd love to send you something in return, if I can figure out the logistics. Fiore is my native region, and I'd love to pass on some local cuisine, but I'm in Paldea at the moment. Which of course, has a unique food culture of it's own. I'll see what I can do! Please stay in touch.

'O.B is surprised by the delivery, and even though he's not officially a ranger any more, he still thinks of Sveppir as a 'fellow' and is happy to receive a gift from them. He wonders if these berries have any special qualities, but even if they do all berries (well, almost all berries) make great snacks!

He opens the jar, fishes one out with a fork from his mess it and gives them a sniff. Pungent from the pickling, but otherwise pleasant.

"Hey Diana, you want some?" He holds the berry under the proboscis of the Drowzee.

"Drow?"

"Cran Berries! From the Ohrken region!" He smiles. The Drowzee gives them another long whiff and nods, letting him feed her.

Diana sucks in her proboscis against the tartness, her eyes water for a moment then she eagerly motions for more. O.B. laughs.'

Thank you so much! i love hearing about other regions that not many are familiar with, not just for research purposes, but to expand my horizons as well :] I'm personally not the biggest fan of tart foods, but I do love myself a good berry :D
