guess what! it’s yr girl’s first day of school as a senior today! (last year of ib, phew!)

this year i’ll be more consistent in focusing and overall studying and nothing or no one can bring me down 🙌🏻 today we just got our new schedule so i’ve been reorganizing some stuff in my bujo and maybe get a head start in some class materials if i’m not sleepy yet 😌

hi everyone! my name is rania and my blog is @raniastudies ✨ and ahhh i’m super excited to be here and meet y’all!

i’m 17 years old and I’m an IB student! my HLs are physics, english lang&lit, visual arts and SL’s are math, psychology and my native language lang&lit. i aspire to become an astrophysicist and study in the united states, so not only i’ll be studying for IB exams i’m also studying the SAT which i’m taking soon! my hobbies include dancing, painting, and writing. i love watching shows too! my fave shows are brooklyn nine-nine, wynonna earp, and snl! i also want to be a comedian probs as a second job?? haha idk i love comedy so much ahh. I listen to tegan and sara, shura and grimes a lot too and i’m also stuck in the world of 2nd gen k-pop so most of the groups i like has disbanded yikes :(( I also was about to start learning french outside school but the amount of workload ib has given me are mountains so i guess i’ll start once i graduate :,) you guys i soooo look forward to knowing you all !! this network is great and godspeed to you all, class of 2018!

sapphic pride week day three - poc sapphics 🌈 well, ta da! here's one: me! being asian and living in a place with strong asian culture is kinda challenging. I'm semi-closeted (only open to friends and the internet, like here!) because opening up to the older generations, such as parents or just any elder in general would cause trouble, as they're much more conservative, viewing queer people negatively. it's definitely easier opening up to friends and milennials because they're much more open towards it, because of exposure and the media about this issue, i guess?
