WAIT OKAY i just watched it's kind of a funny story (2010) bc it was recommended on netflix after the last film I watched and Viola Davis mentions this one quote, "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."
After crying my ass out to that (honestly shitty) movie and writing my letterboxd review obviously, I decided to watch orange is the new black again after YEARS (specifically 4!) of not watching it and on the exact episode i chose to resume on aka the last episode i watched this show on, s04e06, they mentioned the same EXACT quote! wtf!
It could be a coincidence but also HOW could that possibly be a coincidence??? sometimes i feel like my spirit guides are so sick of my shit and tired of me not listening to them or noticing their messages that they decide to sprinkle their guidance all over the media i consume (and i love them for that)
edit: i saw it again today when i was lurking on one of my high school friends' facebook account wtf??? i NEVER do that! and now that i did, i see the quote again??? i swear
