at worst, you could put it as manipulation charge; presumably they were actually "friendly" with her, which was a lie just so that Buttercup wouldn't fight them and they could trap Blossom and Bubbles. as for the weird comments I found scouring through the internet on Buttercup "loving" Ace, there is no actual suggestion that buttercup loved Ace, I honestly thought she just wanted new friends?

I honestly do agree with this interpretation of it. How I saw it: Buttercup was just charmed with the gangreen gang from how they act similarly rowdy to her, and she just wanted some companionship which Ace would use so him and the gang could get away with crimes.

And for the misinformation part: the post I saw was made by some nostalgia-bait account on tiktok and a majority of the comments were from people who only saw Buttercrush once when they were like 7 years old.

So I do agree that they just don't properly remember anything about it, but that doesn't give them the excuse to just label Ace as some child predator from some 15 second cherry picked clips. 💔💔

a peeve of mine that's been bothering me for years are Lemon Demon fans constantly talking about Lemon Demon in the Guaranteed* Video chats. there's a time and place and it's frankly annoying and unnecessary. i know most fans are 13-15 nowadays but it's annoying seeing the chat mainly talk about Lemon Demon and Neil instead of the actual content itself.

When I first heard abt stranger things, I heard abt this byler ship. I’d seen so many edits of them that I believed it was cannon so I decided to ask my friends if I should watch it!! When they broke the news I was seriously devestated, byler wasn’t canon. Anyways I watched it and Duffle bag brothers if you don’t make byler canon I will boycott you guys. I’m not sure how yet but I’ll figure it out !!
