I stumbled across this a while back but for some reason did not voice my frustration at the time. State Farm Insurance is RIPPING OFF THE LOFTNINJA in their oh so ridiculous depiction of this so-called "Apartment Ninja"-a character who swoops into the apartments of unsuspecting city dwellers and racks up cash by stealing their shit. Despite some relevancy in the real world, as seen in the example of the Staten Island Ninja Burgler (which occurred after this site was published), i can see no other reason why a company this huge would try to make a play at apartment renters in this way unless they were trying to capture some of the traffic from the one and only Loftninja. Perhaps State Farm knows the secret identity of the Ninja Burglar, or perhaps they are just hurting financially like everyone else, but if the truth be known, the resemblance of this character is doubtfully coincidental. Just take a look at these screenshots and let the Loftninja know what you think. Any way you look at it, NOT COOL! Where else would they have come up with an idea like this? Shame on you State Farm Insurance! What a lame way to make a buck!
