but demon slayer does not have horrible writing as some of you guys tend to repeatedly presume like some mantra. obviously it's not a 10/10 story--even I'll admit that the plot is pretty plain, the backstories are kind of repetitive, the only amazingly written characters are probably kokushibo, akaza, and shinobu (honorable mentions: sanemi and tanjiro) while the rest of the cast are either awfully written or halfassed, LOTS of important information we wish we had recieved was unfortunately missing or scrapped off, the horror elements we could have had were stripped away from us, and the developments wasn't as good either-- however, as plain of a plot demon slayer has, it does have its high peaks and the fights are pretty badass too. not to mention the characters are great despite the fact that the majority of them aren't well-written, yet we still hold them close to our hearts. and we already know how mesmerizing the animation +cinematography is. you guys make it seem as if demon slayer is the worst piece of media of all time just because its hella popular and gains more attention +fame/money compared to your little, pitiful favorite series. now im not saying you can't have a preference (I'll admit, kny is not even in my own top ten), but you can easily say you either dislike it or that it wasn't your cup of tea instead of acting like an infant running around in circles claiming that demon slayer is hot garbage. instead of bashing on it, how about we begin to hate on actual horribly written shows like h3ntai gooner manure or a good chunk of isekai crap? I mean cmon people, mature up. demon slayer is decent.

A few months ago or maybe last year, I had gone out and it was raining and I had to go home but before that I had to go check if the momos vala shop was open cuz my sibling wanted a plate of momos, so since it was raining and i couldn't find any buses, I went by an auto to the momos vala shop. And right when I sat in the auto i checked my phone, it was.. switched off 😭.. i didn't have cash, i searched for some cash in my purse but no, there was nothing except hospital bills and receipts and sauce packets and tablets and some tissues 😭... I tried switching my mobile phone on and thankfully it turned on for no more than 30 secs, I requested auto uncle to give me his contact on which I can pay him/send him the payment, he did give me his contact and told me that it's 20 ruppees. Before all this happened when I asked him if he had a charger, he said no, he doesn't. I asked again that my phone is switched off so is there a power bank lying around in his auto, he said no, I said I've to pay by my mobile and i don't have cash and to that he responded with its okay no problem it's just little amount of money and he told me that kabhi aur de dijiyega like uncle to this day vo 'kabhi aur' vala din nahi aaya hai 😭 I was like NO IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY, uncle you are dropping me here so you will have to be paid and so after all that I took his contact and to this day, TO THIS DAY I have it and I tried reaching out through a phone call on his contact and through a text but nobody responded, and when I checked if that contact number is on payment apps like phonepe, guess what... It WASNT THERE 😭

No MATTER WHAT, I WILL PAY HIM, I JUST WANT THEM TO RESPOND 😭😭😭 AND ALSO THE MOMOS SHOP WASNT OPEN 😭😭

Listening to F1 nation and Natalie and Tom think Daniel was kinda hurt by the are you a racer or an entertainer question.

Natalie says that's why he stopped beaming when the camera is on him now and that he wanted to prove them wrong with the race.

I'm glad he did that..... BUT ALSO that was such a disrespectful question in the first place. this man dedicated his life to be able to race in formula 1, he took a pay cut to go to mclaren because renault was sinking, took an alpha tauri seat which was arguably worse than the Williams and Haas when he was offered both the seat just so he could have a shot at Redbull which is STILL not a guarantee

you think an entertainer would do that, you think that's a man that's less racer and more entertainer? YOU'D HAVE TO BE ABSOLUTELY STUPID.

why do you look at a man who's happy that he's living his dream that he worked his ass off to get and think he's not serious?? is smiling really THE indication that you don't want to be the best driver in the world?? when did people start losing their common sense??

I'm so tired of this narrative. I hope he makes it RBR and gives the middle finger to everyone who judged him!!

Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Week 7: Something's Gotta Give

So Jenn was eliminated and I honestly was not shocked. She was the most obvious choice for elimination last week, even with the overscoring of 4 couples. She had her best dance of the season though, so it was a good note for them to go out on. Now before I get into anyone else, I need to vent a bit about the mess that we dealt with last week.

The scoring was atrocious. I am still frustrated by it. Let me tell you why. Ilona came out and while she gave a respectable routine, there were some issues. A 24 was a normal score and definitely deserved. But when you look at Dwight, Joey and Danny's dances and how CAI gave them all 10s (and Bruno giving Joey a 10 as well) while they all had OBVIOUS technical issues, it makes it seem like Ilona was horrible while they all completely knocked it out of the park. And while they did well, they were closer to Ilona in terms of execution than the judges made it seem.

So you think that's it, right? That it can't get any worse? Well, we get to Chandler's dance and it was perfect. You couldn't see a mistake under a microscope. And yet CAI tells her that she can't give her a perfect score because it has more criteria than contemporary and the Argentine tango. What that means? None of us know. She doesn't even know. It's also bull because the Argentine tango has quite a bit of criteria in order to be good and she KNOWS how to properly judge a contemporary dance. And when questioned by Chandler on what she can do to improve (because this is maybe the 4th week that she hasn't gotten an actual critique from her), instead of answering, she hid.

So here's where I'm at. We cannot play these foolish games on this show. Not with scoring. This is how you get dumb results. This is how someone like Tinashe or Demarcus gets eliminated early. This is how you get someone like a Joe Amabile getting 5th and a Bobby Bones winning the whole thing. Is anyone this season like those two? No. BUT, there was a legit chance that we could've lost Ilona or Chandler prematurely. Heck, we still can lose them. Y'all remember how Nastia and Simone were both unjustly eliminated in the semis on their respective seasons? That's because the judges kept zeroing in on complete nonissues in their dances (the same exact thing they're zeroing in on for Chandler). After a while, GP starts to believe it and they vote that way too. I refuse to let them do this and then continue to blame us for wonky results when it's on them! The judges shoulder the vast majority of the blame when those things happen. Yeah, the viewers have blame too. But when the judges' scores count for 50% of the overall total, they have to be more responsible with this. I'm sick of them just doing what tf ever, just like CAI basically admitted to last week. Dwight was out of sync at points. Danny was hunched over and his footwork needed a lot of work. Joey also had footwork issues and his lifts were kinda rough. Jenn was probably the cleanest of them all, but there was one part that was kind of messy toward the end. We need to call things out across the board.

So where does that leave us? Simply put, we need a 4th judge on the panel that can keep everyone in check. Bruno is not that cuz he has his moments too. Derek clearly can't be that person and he be on some bs too. We need someone else that is going to force the judges to respect the integrity of the competition and the dances. Things like this can quickly turn folks away from this show. I've been watching for almost 20 years and I damn near gave up on the season and probably the show at the moment CAI whipped out a 9 for Chandler after giving out 4 undeserved 10s while also acknowledging they were undeserved and also letting us know she had no real reason to not give Chandler a 10. You see how stupid that looks? It felt stupid for me to type that out.

Listen, I sound like a broken record at this point. But the scoring has to be better and it has to be consistent. I'm more mad this week because this was the most egregious occurrence that I have ever seen. You don't get that together, you kill your show. Conrad, come here. Get your talent together. Y'all flying a little too close to the sun right now.

That's all that I have. I pretty much gave my thoughts on each dance in this rant, so I won't do too much more. I'll just say that Stephen had a great night and I'm glad he got a moment to have a really great dance.

Okay but how do you even approach someone famous you find in a public place ? Like it feels so impolite and rude to go and bother them when they just wanna have some time off work either alone or in the company of their family and friends and you just don't want to make them uncomfortable, but on the other hand it's like fucking hell I admire person so much and I may never come across such an opportunity again
