National Roast Leg of Lamb Day - May 7

Lamb is not something I would but at the store and cook at home.  I may have twice in my 32 years.  Not to mention I saw some things in culinary school that I can't un-see.

It's pretty self explanatory what a leg of lamb is.  It's not some mystery cut that you have to Google to describe properly.  Roasting on the other hand I guess can be quickly defined...

Roasting is a cooking method that uses dry heat, whether an open flame, oven, or other heat source.

Watertown, MA has a large concentration of Armenians.  And the food is amazing.  I did find one of the restaurants/grocers that has lamb shawarma makes it with leg of lamb.  Score!  And it's right next to Target.  Double score! :)
