I think Raphael would be great at helping you feel more at ease! He can be loud when he’s happy, but he’s also very gentle. He has that “everything’s alright” quality to him.
The first time you have a panic attack in front of him, if he was unaware that you struggled with anxiety, he might be confused and think that you’re just feeling sick.
He would stay by your side and likely offer to hold your hands (because that’s something that calms him, so he would think it might calm you too).
But he would approach you a couple days later to ask how he can help better next time.
He might not get the explanation behind panic attacks and what causes them, but if you tell him something he can do will help, then he will never forget it, and he will do it every time.
Be it hugs, holding your hand, just sticking by you, helping you lie down... anything that usually helps you!
And once you’re feeling better, he is great at helping you take your mind off what happened.
Just imagine seeing his big sweet smile, and having him offer to do one of your favourite activities.
He might start sticking by you more often, because “what if you get another one of those attacks, and there’s no one around that knows what to do?”
He’s so proud to have learned. Protect?
