Tbh I think I like the, "Your sexuality is 'not interested'?" bit the most because it's such a simple, succinct way to put things. And a majority of other moments where Raphael's aroace identity comes up, CC conflates it with being romance/sex repulsed. And of course aroace people can be romance/sex repulsed, but that's not what being aroace is, because non-aroace people can be romance/sex repulsed too.

Listen, Raphael was a Mexican immigrant growing up in the 40s and 50s. You can’t tell me he wasn’t religiously following the Chicano rock scene. But also he has a stash of Selena cassettes and CDs he likes to break out every once in a while. And when he does, he cranks the volume all the way up and you can hear her music through out the hotel. The clan has learned by now to not complain or say anything negative about Selena in his presence.
