IT'S FINALLY HERE!! The event I've wanted to do for YEARS is finally, finally here! Well, one year. But whatever.

All the info's on the announcements. Starts the last week of June! All prompts are purposefully vague in order to be interpreted however you wish.

I know some of the prompts are pretty romance-themed, but this event is open to all interpretations of Red and Purple's relationship! I'll reblog platonic interpretations of the prompts, and even interpretations that depict them as enemies!

RaPr week day 6: Roleswap

I know this is late but here is my entry this is an au where Red and Purple are invaders and Zim is the Tallest and Membrane is a child and is trying to dissect them for science and Dib is Membrane's father and is a famous paranormal investigator

This was my original idea for the swap day. Like I said, I think I misinterpreted the theme of role swap lol.

I remember Red having a punching Judy puppet of himself in one episode. My theory is, they both have one for couple's therapy XD.

The current event is: RAPR Week 2021!

Please read the rules before participating! All rules and event guidelines are under the read more.

There is a short about page, and a (currently barren) list of all events, but those are desktop-only for the time being. Mobile isn't cooperating.

Rules

These rules are vital to the safety and comfort of both myself and event participants. If I catch anyone violating any of these rules, they will be blocked from both this blog and my main one.

1: No self-described “antis” or ship hostile people allowed

Why? Because fuck ‘em, that’s why! That, and the rule right under this one is gonna be a no-harassment rule, and uh, their whole philosophy of “I’m gonna assume someone is malicious because of what they choose to depict in art!“ kinda inherently breaks that rule. I don’t care if you dislike a ship or hell, even if you mercilessly bash the ship in private. I’m talking about the people who say that x ship is y deplorable action. Saying that…

2: No harassing people for how they interpret event prompts

I’m really only saying this so if someone is being a shit, I can point to this rule and go “Hey, what? What the fuck??” But yeah this is common knowledge. Just… yeah, don’t. Prompts are anything-goes here. And yes, this counts vague-posting if it’s in the event tag.

3: No bigotry, though

Again, I don’t really expect people to follow this. Bigots aren’t really known for their superb sense of personal boundaries. But it’s a thing I can point to that says “yeah, don’t do that.”

4: All commonly warned for content MUST be tagged.

If anything, use the AO3 archive warnings, or a “choose not to warn.” Events are open for creative freedom but I want this blog and individual event tags to be safe for anyone who wishes to participate, which means having a functional tagging system. Please tag at least common triggers so people who do not wish to see them may blacklist them and scroll the event tag’s feed in peace.

Guidelines

These aren’t exactly hard-and-fast rules, but more of a general guide on how events work.

1: Any form of art will be accepted, always.

Art, writing, cosplay, AMVs, fuckin’ music, anything. If you made it, I’ll reblog it. I do my best to accommodate both art and writing possibilities in my event prompts for this reason.

2: Generally, all events are all-ages and all-rating.

I will most likely host PG-13 events, might (MIGHT) host 18+ events in the future, but those will clearly be marked as such. As an all-around rule, all events are open to people of any age, and any rating of content will be allowed. Which means yes, you can create NSFW media for an all-ages event. I’ll tag it all when I reblog it here, and I expect you to tag it when using the event tag.

3: Prompts may be interpreted however you wish.

If it’s the schmoopiest, fluffiest prompt ever and you somehow twist it to be the angstiest thing in the world, more power to you! Even if it’s the loosest possible interpretation of a prompt, I don’t care! It’s a for-fun fandom event, not English class.

4: Specific events might have different guidelines or rules.

The event rules are also something you need to read (please) but sometimes they might change from event to event, as might the guidelines. For instance, if I ever do a fluff-themed week, or other similar genre-themed week, prompts may only be interpreted for that genre. Stuff like that. I’ll specify in the post itself if this applies. If I don’t specify any new rules or guidelines, assume the general rules and guidelines apply.

5: Everything will be reblogged and tagged accordingly.

SFW, NSFW, art, writing, you name it. Everything I reblog will be tagged with these things:

Art medium

Event name

NSFW (If it is)

Trigger tags (IF any)

As of now, I tag for:

Character death

Gore (or graphic depictions of violence)

Rape/noncon

Underage

Abuse

Any x-phobia and x-ism depicted in art*

If I should tag anything else, please send me an ask. I can’t promise I’ll tag every single obscure thing, but if I missed any commonly tagged for triggers, please tell me.

*Why do I have a tag for those if I say no bigotry? Well, a story written by, say, someone anti-NB would fall under transphobia and the no bigotry rule. A story where a character experiences transphobia does NOT fall under the no bigotry rule. Sometimes bad things happen and people are allowed to depict this in art- even people who are not victims of Bad Thing, as long as they do it respectfully. The “no bigotry” rule applies to the fact that I don’t want horrible people in my events, even if their work is pristine.

6: I’m open to event requests.

I’m not sure where to put this, so it’s here. Have an idea for a kickass event? Don’t want to host it yourself? Drop that shit in my askbox! I may or may not do it at some point.

It's past midnight for me, so RAPR week is officially over, sadly.

I'd like to thank everyone who participated, liked, reblogged, watched from the sidelines, all of you. This was my first time organizing any sort of event and I was afraid it would be a failure. I'm just so glad people had fun with this. I know I did!

Reminder that I'll still be regularly checking the RAPR week tag for another week for late entries, and the RAPR week prompts are open to be used 'till the end of time.

Stay tuned for the next event! It'll still be a little while, I'm still getting some things... red-y for it. But don't worry, just a little while longer and it'll be revealed!
